Our golden-yellow, alcohol-free wheat beer tastes like a premium wheat beer: tangy, fresh and full-bodied, with hints of cloves and honey as well as a fine yeasty spirit. The allusion to pink elephants and the choice of names is not due to chance. With a particular character, the unique taste results from triple fermentation and the use of three different yeast strains. Sweet, biscuit malt backbone, supported by pleasant warmth and spice, finishes well rounded, floral, and dry. Color and Sight: Pale blond, the fine and regular sparkle creates a nice, stable foam head. Scent: Slightly malty, heavy touch of alcohol, spicy. Taste: A good shot of alcohol ignites in the mouth, as it were, which really warms the tongue and palate. The taste is also characterized by its roundness. The finish is strong, long and dry bitter.

Duvel is a natural beer with a subtle bitterness, a refined flavour and a distinctive hop character. The unique brewing process, which takes about 90 days, guarantees a pure character, delicate effervescence and a pleasant sweet taste of alcohol. Apart from pure spring water, which is the main ingredient of beer, barley is the most important raw material. Barley must germinate for five days in the malt house, after which malt remains. The colour of the malt and as a consequence also of the beer is determined by the temperature. Duvel obtains its typical bitterness by adding various varieties of aromatic Slovenian and Czech hops. We use only exclusive hops that are renowned for their constant, outstanding quality. Duvel ferments for the first time in tanks at 20 to 26°C. The brewer uses his own culture for this. The original yeast strain, which Victor Moortgat himself selected in the 1920’s, originates from Scotland. After maturing in storage tanks in which the beer is cooled down to -2°C, the drink is ready for bottling. Thanks to the addition of extra sugars and yeast, the beer ferments again in the bottle. This occurs in warm cellars (24°C) and takes two weeks. Then the beer is moved to cold cellars, where it continues to mature and stabilise for a further six weeks. This extra long maturation period is unique and contributes to the refined flavour and pure taste of Duvel.

Corsendonk Pater Dubbel is a soft and top-fermented dark beer, refermented and aged in bottle to a lively sparkling beer with rich foam. This beer has caramelized malt on the nose with hints of ripe fruit. Mild on the palate with wellbalanced bitterness, hints of fruit, toasted bread, liquorice, coffee and caramel.

Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor completes the taste pallet of our Carolus beers. “Hopsinjoor” derived from “Opsinjoor”, the typical character of Mechelen and also because of the use of 5 different kinds of hops. These hops are fractioned at a different time during the cooking process in order to conserve a maximum of aroma. Concerning the taste, the Ale has a gentle taste with a slightly bitter finish. Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor was launched in 2008 on the Zythos Beer Festival and hit the mark: the visitors elected it as best beer, bringing Het Anker “The Consumer’s trophy Zythos Beer Festival 2008”. The beer is bottled unfiltered in order to preserve the bitterness of the hop as much as possible.

In 2011 lanceerde Peter van der Arend na de geboorte van zijn jongste dochter, Mikkie, een bier om dit te vieren. Hij wilde er geen geld aan verdienen maar gratis uitdelen was ook geen optie. De gehele opbrengst ging naar het geweldige goede doel: KIKA. In 2014 werd de oudste dochter Roos, een beetje "boos"! Roos kreeg haar zin en de biertjes werden elk jaar om en om vernoemd naar Roos en Mikkie. Een mooie traditie en inmiddels zijn we aan de 14e editie.

Jopen Northsea IPA is an IPA (India Pale Ale) or, in old Dutch, a ‘Duraebel Scheepsbier’. These beers were extra strongly brewed and extra hopped so that they could be taken along on the long sea voyages to the Dutch East Indies (current-day Indonesia). Nowadays this type of beer is making a comeback because American brewers have breathed new life into this brewing style. This hoppy amber beer is named after the lake between the towns of Spaarndam and Haarlem, the Mooie Nel (literally: Beautiful Nel). The beer has received an extra hop addition to the tank after fermentation to give it a clear hop character. Silver medal winner Brussels beer Challenge 2014.

Gouden Carolus Ambrio is aromatically brewed according to the ancient recipe of the Mechelschen Bruynen. Ambrio is an 'amber' ale brewed with 'brio'. This white beer of high fermentation finds its origin in the traditional beer of the city of Mechelen. As each city had its own typical beer, the Mechelenians drunk their amber beer: "Mechelschen Bruynen" for hundreds of years. Our brewery is the only brewery that still brews this type of beer. According to the tradition the basic recipe of this beer dates from 1421 and is therefore the oldest beer from the brewery. The current version is slightly heavier than the original and finer hopped. The balance between the different malts, the fine hops and typical aromas with herbs ensure that this beer combines the whole-hearted nature of brown beers with the freshness of blonde beers. This flavored and spicy light brown tasting beer should be served fairly fresh. Refermentation in the bottle.

The flagship of the O’Hara’s brand, this uniquely Irish stout brings one back to how Irish stouts used to taste. First brewed in 1999, it has since been awarded prestigious honours for its quality and authenticity. O’Hara’s Irish Stout has a robust roast flavour complemented by a full-bodied and smooth mouth feel. The generous addition of Fuggle hops lends a tart bitterness to the dry espresso-like finish. This sessionable stout beer is filled with rich complex coffee aromas mingled with light liquorice notes. The combination of traditional stout hops with an extra pinch of roast barley allows us to stay true to Irish tradition, recreating a taste so often yearned for by stout drinkers.

A limited edition rum and oak chip beer that weighs in at 7.4% abv. The Zoet & Hout is a Peated Porter that offers a rich taste experience with intense smoky and peaty aromas. In addition, it is complemented with notes of cocoa, caramel and a hint of laurel. This results in a beer with a medium body that ends with a crisp aftertaste.

Barista Chocolate Quad offers clear notes of caramel, toffee and chocolate. In terms of flavour and taste, this specialty beer is known as a quadruple. The aromas of the roasted malt, the dark color and the rich foamy head are similar to a porter and a stout, two British beer styles. A unique beer that every beer lover should taste!

Samen met Pomona Island Brew maakten we anderhalf jaar geleden deze mooie quadrupel. Dit bier hebben we voor 16 maanden in Buffalo Trace vaten gelegd. Het bijzondere aan dit bier is dat het een heel fijn licht en fris zuurtje heeft. Wat je dus mag verwachten van dit Barrel Project zijn zoete smaken van de quadrupel in combinatie met de bourbon en een licht vineuze afdronk.

Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel, launched in 2010, is an intense beer, dark in colour and full in taste. The aroma is elegant, spicy and slightly roasted. The sophisticated blend of special kinds of malt give the beer a complex character, combining a delicate dryness with hints of coriander, dark fruits, anise and roasted chestnuts. The palate finishes in a syrupy taste. The refermentation in the bottle creates a living beer that will evolve over the years. Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel finds an excellent partner in chocolate when it comes to foodpairing.

Verbena might not be the first thing that comes to mind as a beer ingredient, but this flavor enhancer, often used in cocktails and teas, brings a refreshing citrus-like touch to Iron Heart. This makes it the perfect addition for a summer saison. A saison, a classic beer style from southern Belgium and northern France, is known for its dry, blonde character and unique, funky aroma produced by yeast that thrives at high temperatures. Iron Heart adds an extra layer of complexity with the fresh, slightly tart notes of verbena, resulting in a bold and flavorful beer that is perfectly balanced.

Saison Dupont is a world classic beer and the yardstick for one of Belgium’s most important beer styles. It is the most admired AND imitated Saison in the world. A strong, vital yeast is key to full attenuation and thus to the style. Saison Dupont is straw colored with a dense creamy head. The nose is alive, like fresh raised bread, estery with citrus and spice notes. Full-bodied and malty, it sparkles on the palate and finishes with a zesty hop and citrus attack. The Chimay Blue Cap, baptized "Grande Reserve" in 750 ml bottles is a dark Trappist beer with a powerful aroma, the complex flavor of which improves across the years. It was first brewed as a Christmas beer by the monks of Scourmont Abbey in 1956. This authentic Belgian beer, whose tinge of fresh yeast is associated with a light rosy flowery touch, is particularly pleasant. Its aroma, perceived as one enjoys it, only accents the delightful sensations revealed by the odor, all revealing a light but agreeable caramelized note. It is ideally served at cellar temperature (10 to 12°C).

Golden yellow Trappist ale with a white head and a rich flavour. The fruity and refreshing aromas go well with the sweet smell of malt and aromas reminiscent of spices. The result is an agreeable and tingling ale with a lightly sweet, smoothly bitter and malty taste. The aftertaste is characterised by a combination of sweetness and smooth bitterness.

Amber-coloured Trappist ale with a broken white head. A lovely combination of herbal, floral and fruity aromas. La Trappe Isid’or was first brewed in 2009 on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of The Koningshoeven Brewery. The harmonious taste starts off fruity and shifts to malty caramel. A perfectly balanced ale. The ale is named after Brother Isidorus, the abbey's first brewer. The aftertaste is pleasantly bitter.

A light-blond, organic, top-fermented Trappist ale with a sturdy collar. The aroma is characterised by the refreshing and fruity aromas of the yeast, combined with the flowery scent of citrus caused by the hops. Only organic ingredients were used when brewing this Skal-certified ale. The result is an accessible, refreshing and smooth Trappist ale with a pleasant bitterness and a mild, dry finish.

A characteristically Trappist ale with a warm amber colour and a cream-coloured head. The aroma is associated with clover and nuts, balanced by the sweet aromas of vanilla, raisins and banana. La Trappe Quadrupel is the heaviest of all the La Trappe Trappist ales and it is also the source for the name of this style. A full, heart-warming and intense taste. Malty with sweet tones of dates and caramel. The aftertaste is smooth and slightly bitter.

A golden blonde Trappist ale with a white head. Fruity aromas of peach and apricot combined with a floral aroma. La Trappe Tripel is a classic Trappist ale with a powerful and full flavour. In addition, this ale has a candy-sweet and light malty character. The aftertaste is bitter and slightly dry.

NOTE: The ABV-value of this beer varies, in the United States 6.9% is used. The Orval’s brewery produces only one beer to sell, a beer with a high fermentation that continues in the bottle. It is 6.2% ABV. This beer is brewed exclusively from spring water, barley malt, hop cones, candy sugar, and yeast. The aroma and the fine taste are due more to the hop cones and the yeast than to the malt that is used. What’s special about Orval’s beer is that hops are added at two different stages of the production process. First, in the brewing room, a large quantity of very fine hops are added – this produces the famous bitter taste and is the reason why the beer keeps for a longer period of time. Later, in the storage cellars, hops are once again added. This is the so-called British “dry hopping,” which produces the delightful aroma that completely enraptures even the most carefully forewarned taster. In the tasting room, Orval’s beer and cheese make a really good pair: the unique shape of the bottle and the glass, the design of the label, the coasters and other publicity materials – it’s all a legacy from the early 1930’s.

Zundert 10 Trappist is een quadrupel met een licht kruidige toets die onze bieren kenmerkt. Dit trappistenbier is diep roodbruin van kleur, met een mooie, licht beige, schuimkraag. De geur geeft hints van gedroogde zuidvruchten, zwoele kruiden, drop en een beetje chocolade. De smaak is vol en zacht, in balans gebracht door een mooie hopbitterheid. In de nasmaak keert de Zundertse kruidigheid subtiel terug.

Zundert Trappist is een kastanjekleurig bovengistend bier met nagisting op fles. Het bevat 8% alcohol. We hebben gekozen voor een bier dat we ‘een beetje weerbarstig’ noemen. Dat wil zeggen, Zundert Trappist is een bier dat je de tijd moet geven om daadwerkelijk te doorgronden. Ons trappistenbier heeft een veelbelovende geur met een zweem van kruiden en specerijen. In de aanzet is Zundert Trappist bloemig en iets zoet. Geef het bier wat tijd en het karakter evolueert van licht karamel naar een mooie en droge hopbitterheid. In de lange afdronk vloeien de bitters samen met een aangename kruidigheid op de achtergrond.

Het van oudsher Brugse stadsbier, krachtig en bitterzoet. BRUGGE Tripel heeft een mooie goudblonde kleur en een stevig, rotsachtig schuim dat een tekening van Brugs kantwerk achterlaat op het glas. Het aroma heeft een typisch fenolisch gerookte toets en de smaak is bitter, rijk en romig. Het geheim van het stadsbier BRUGGE Tripel is gelegen in de eigen samenstelling van het kruidenmengsel ‘gruut’, dat haar smaak en aroma verrijkt. In Brugge werd al wie bier brouwde verplicht een ‘gruut’ te gebruiken en dat aan te kopen in het stedelijke kruidenhuis, ‘Gruuthuse’ genaamd. Jan van Brugge en zijn nazaten, die later Van Gruuthuse werden genoemd, kregen tot laat in de 16e eeuw het monopolie op de verkoop van het Brugse ‘gruut’. Terzelfdertijd werden taksen geheven ten voordele van de Graaf van Vlaanderen. In BRUGGE Tripel wordt deze middeleeuwse traditie verdergezet.

Corsendonk Agnus Tripel is a spicy top-fermented blond beer, also refermented in the bottle and matured into a lively sparkling beer with a spicy bouquet and hopped aftertaste.

DAVO Roadtrip is een blonde en krachtige tripel. Het goudgele bier is zoet en verwarmend door het stevige alcoholpercentage. Het fruitige karakter maakt het bier zeer toegankelijk en gevaarlijk doordrinkbaar!

Dit is nou wat je noemt een echte Tripel. Mooi blond van kleur, fruitig en iets kruidig in de neus, licht zoet, aangenaam bitter van smaak en met een lange zachte afdronk. Een bier waar alle ingrediënten perfect in balans zijn. Gebrouwen volgens een eeuwenoude kloostertraditie met graan en hop uit de streek en met het zuiverste water. En vooral geen haast, het bier krijgt bij ons echt de tijd en aandacht die het nodig heeft. En dat proef je.

Tripel LeFort is a golden blonde beer of 8.8% ABV and sets itself apart through its crisp, fruity aroma and beautifully rounded full flavour. The top-fermenting yeast used for Tripel LeFort results in a beer with vanilla-clove aromas as well as a fruity taste of bananas and red apples. Pleasant hints of citrus, lime and roses make this into a balanced beer that is intriguingly complex at the same time.

Go on a discovery: "Meine Hopfenweisse" - the incomparable experience of indulgent drinking, that exceeds all expectations … hoppy, but flowery, bitter and full-bodied, and still with a sweet malty aroma - this is how multifaceted wheat beer can actually be. A real delight in the special Schneider way! And when it comes to spicy dishes or refined chocolates the "Hopfenweisse" unleashes no less than a pleasant tremor of the senses.

A full-bodied, Amsterdam wheat beer that is dangerously ‘moreish’. Slightly cloudy, it has a beautiful golden colour and a soft, foamy head. The wheat malt gives the beer a delightful, fresh flavour, and the addition of coriander and lemon during the brewing process produces a rich aroma of banana, citrus and spices. Topped off by a fine, slightly sweet aftertaste, IJwit is a delicious thirst-quencher.

Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-pored white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour. It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. To be enjoyed at any time (always a pleasure / enjoyment), goes excellently with fish and seafood, with spicy cheese and especially with the traditional Bavarian veal sausage. Our dark wheat beer is impressive with its creamy white foam. Angel’s Share is a Imperial Stout aged in Bourbon barrels for 28 months and infused afterwards with vanilla beams. It’s the eighth creation of Basqueland's Barrel Works series, the barrel-aged beer program.

We laid this beer on Bourbon and even more pineapple and cacao to create an incredibly smooth rich layered beer that opens up its flavours with each sip.

Cuvée De Ranke is a mixed fermentation, blended ale. A combination of barrel-aged beer and lambic. 70% Belgium sour ale with 30% lambic. Taste: Full-bodied sour flavour, with notes of oak from oak-aging.

As big fans of geuze-style beers, we wanted to give making our own spontaneous fermentation beer a go. To our own surprise, with success. A side from our own Spierelambiek, our spontaneously fermented beer - named after a tiny river that runs near the brewery -, we use two traditional lambieks from the valley of the river Senne to make a blend. One, two and three year old lambiek is used in Mirakel-beer, our own little miracle.

bottling date 09/02/2023 For this small batch Pruim, we macerated Queen Victoria plums from a small Limbourg organic farm on an oak barrel, for six months. For macerating and blending, we used two-year and three-year old lambikken, rendering the weighted average age to more than 26 months. The fional fruit intensity is 323 grams of fruit per litre of Pruim. 80% of the cereals used for the brews were sourced in Pajottenland. 100% 3 Fonteinen.

bottle date: 08/09/2022 This series of eight Spelingen van het Lot feature the ageing of the same lambikken on different wooden barrels. The lambikken come off two different brews, fully crafted with cereals sourced from our cereal collective and fully organic. The different wood types used are: American oak, German oak, acacia, the combination of German oak and acacia, chestnut, ash, cherry and mulberry. This bottle features the German oak and was handbottled on 510 bottles. Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen “Speling van het Lot” (Twist of Fate) is a series of small batch experimental brews, barrel maturations, fruit macerations and blends.

Straffe Hendrik Heritage is a special variety of the Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel, as it a one year oak barrel aged beer. The beer is brewed in autum and is only available in a limited edition. The taste and fragrance of the beer are very complex and evolve through the years. The tannin from the barrels blends exquisitely with the special malts in the beer. The combination of the spiciness and bitterness of the quadrupel with the subtle taste of wine and wood from the barrels is inimitable. Licorice and dark fruits like raisins, prunes and figs can also be discovered. With age the beer will develop a hint of porto as well.

Rodenbach Alexander is a blend of 2/3rd aged Rodenbach (2 year matured beer from oak standing Foeders) and 1/3rd young ale, then macerated with sour cherries.

Inspired by spiced pastries with sweet vanilla icing, we’ve brewed an autumnal treat at a sessionable ABV conditioned on a medley of juicy blackberries, strawberries and sloe berries. Each sip reveals sweet swirls of maple and vanilla, perfectly balanced by subtle cinnamon spices.

Duchesse de Bourgogne from Brouwerij Verhaeghe is the traditional Flemish red ale. This refreshing ale is matured in oak casks; smooth with a rich texture and interplay of passion fruit, and chocolate, and a long, dry and acidic finish. After the first and secondary fermentation, the beer goes for maturation into the oak barrels for 18 months. The final product is a blend of younger 8 months old beer with 18 months old beer. The average age of the Duchesse de Bourgogne before being bottled is 12 months.

Formerly known as Liefmans Kriek and Cuvée - Brut. This classy beer represents the perfect marriage between the fresh accents and slightly acidic flavour of the black cherries. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a mixed fermentation beer, with every hectolitre containing up to 13 kilos of fruit! Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a perfect blend of Oud Bruin and Goudenband from different vintages, and can consist of between 15 and 20 different batches of beers. The beer is matured for 18 months, bringing out the very best of its intense flavour. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a deep reddish-brown colour, with a pale head and wood and almond notes. On the palette, you can clearly taste the slightly sweet, yet at the same time gently bitter fruit flavours. This is a beer that just oozes class…

Mixed Fermentation Golden Sour with Mango Brewed with locally grown barley, wheat and rolled oats and primary fermented with our mixed culture including a blend of Brettanomyces strains isolated from Belgian Lambic producers. We fermented this beer for three months before refermenting and conditioning on 200g/l of Indian Alfonso Mangoes.

Oude Geuze Boon is a monument of taste with an alcohol content of 7%. It’s a magnificent blend of 90% mild 18 month-old lambic, 5% strong 3 year-old beer and 5% very young lambic, which provides fermentable sugars and wild yeasts. All our beers are aged in oak casks, mixed in a vessel of 25,000 litres and chilled. Before bottling, we bring the mix to fermentation temperature. The bottles are then placed in an air-conditioned room, which leads to a secondary fermentation in the bottle. This is when the lambic becomes gueuze. After several months of aging in the bottle, the gueuze develops its delicate flavour. Want to know the bottling date? Simply subtract 20 years from the “best before” date! Taste carefully and you will uncover a fruity grapefruit and ginger flavour with a hint of Muscat grapes. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by the wholehearted body and the sublime finish – an explosion of Germanic and Romance cultures.

Blend of young and old lambics with cherry maceration. Our authentic kriek.

Again, the basic old and young lambic are matured in oak casks. But here we add to one year-old lambic about 400 grams of real cherries per litre. This creates a second fermentation in the casks. Oude Kriek Boon then undergoes a further fermentation in the bottle and has an alcohol volume of 6.5%. After several months, the flavour has matured to the desired taste. Oude Kriek Boon is a test of your patience. It should lie about 2 years in the bottle. At first, it tastes of fruit, especially sour cherries. Oude Kriek Boon eventually evolves into a deep taste reminiscent of Port or Madeira wine. This is kriek at its best.

This is an aged Belgian red ale, which is ‘ripened quietly in oak barrels for two years’, according to the label. It has an extremely pungent aroma of rich grapey fruit, with acidic notes, very much like a slightly sour red wine or possibly a gueuze. In the mouth it is slightly sweet, extremely acidic and fruity, with grapes and even cherries discernible, and very lively. Despite the sweetness it is not at all cloying, even thin, with little or no trace of malt. Finish is sharp and fruity.

Originally called "Ouden Tripel", this ancient West Flanders Brown beer has found a new élan as a regional specialty under its current name: "VanderGhinste Roodbruin". The main ingredients of our Vanderghinste Oud Bruin are malted barley, wheat, hops, water, and caramelized malts. These are used to brew a top-fermented beer. Blending this beer with lambic beer aged in oak for 18 months results in this specific West Flanders Brown beer. Its typical flavour is characterized by a well-balanced, hardly noticeable sourness. This first flavour impression is soon followed by a second pleasant discovery: a slight bitterness followed by a hint of sweetness.

The appearance of this exceptional beer is matched only by its taste! To make our Framboise, we add raspberry juice to our lambic. That gives it a delicate fruity aroma and a beautiful dark pink colour, just like the dress I wore to our cousin Willy's wedding. (But that's of no interest to you since you undoubtedly don't know Willy). Framboise is served as an aperitif, but I also use it in cooking. And when I don't finish the bottle in my preparations, I finish it in my glass.
