Averbode is een blond abdijbier dat gedryhopped is en met nagisting op fles.Het heeft een goudgele kleur met een fijne schuimkraag. Met geurige aroma's van bloemen, groene appels, zoetigheid en hop. Door de vier soorten hop komt er een hoppige smaak naar voren. Het palet is volmondig, moutzoetig en met een aangenaam hopkarakter. De afdronk is fris, vol en bitter.

Strong, Blond, Belgian. 8.5% Vol. CORNET is a blond Belgian beer with a unique taste: powerful yet soft, thanks to the addition of oak wood chips during the brewing process.

The allusion to pink elephants and the choice of names is not due to chance. With a particular character, the unique taste results from triple fermentation and the use of three different yeast strains. Sweet, biscuit malt backbone, supported by pleasant warmth and spice, finishes well rounded, floral, and dry. Color and Sight: Pale blond, the fine and regular sparkle creates a nice, stable foam head. Scent: Slightly malty, heavy touch of alcohol, spicy. Taste: A good shot of alcohol ignites in the mouth, as it were, which really warms the tongue and palate. The taste is also characterized by its roundness. The finish is strong, long and dry bitter.

Duvel is a natural beer with a subtle bitterness, a refined flavour and a distinctive hop character. The unique brewing process, which takes about 90 days, guarantees a pure character, delicate effervescence and a pleasant sweet taste of alcohol. Apart from pure spring water, which is the main ingredient of beer, barley is the most important raw material. Barley must germinate for five days in the malt house, after which malt remains. The colour of the malt and as a consequence also of the beer is determined by the temperature. Duvel obtains its typical bitterness by adding various varieties of aromatic Slovenian and Czech hops. We use only exclusive hops that are renowned for their constant, outstanding quality. Duvel ferments for the first time in tanks at 20 to 26°C. The brewer uses his own culture for this. The original yeast strain, which Victor Moortgat himself selected in the 1920’s, originates from Scotland. After maturing in storage tanks in which the beer is cooled down to -2°C, the drink is ready for bottling. Thanks to the addition of extra sugars and yeast, the beer ferments again in the bottle. This occurs in warm cellars (24°C) and takes two weeks. Then the beer is moved to cold cellars, where it continues to mature and stabilise for a further six weeks. This extra long maturation period is unique and contributes to the refined flavour and pure taste of Duvel.

Brewery Het Anker decided to brew an easy drinkable city beer for the Mechelenians, still peppy enough in order to enjoy it to the fullest. We brew a heroic beer called Maneblusser. It’s a blond beer with an alcohol percentage of 6.2% vol. in which you can taste a subtle citrus aroma and a fine finish. Maneblusser is brewed according to the traditional method of high fermentation with refermentation in the bottle. The inspiration for this brew originates in the night of January 27th in the year 1687. The moon projected its reddish glow on Saint Rumbold’s tower, which was wrapped in a dense fog. “Fire, fire, the tower is on fire!” shouts the dreary voice of a drunken man. The alarm was sounded and people were making haste to help extinguish the so-called fire. Before the tower was reached, the moon slowly moved through the fog. From that moment on, the Mechelenians are called the Maneblussers or “Moonextinguishers”.

Accessible spicy blonde beer of only 5.5 vol% matured in gin barrels This beer has matured in eight months ‘Villiers’ gin barrels and 8 months in bottle. Noblesse VSOP is thus a clear beer, and has a very fine, light bitterness of hops and juniper. The beer is refreshing, smooth and has sufficiently long aftertaste. A perfect thirst-quenching beer. To ensure their savoir-faire and methods endure, how about a new mission to develop – at their leisure – a second exceptional beverage? And that’s how Nova saw the light of day. While the original Paix Dieu is said to be a Triple and smooth to perfection, Nova is noted for its blond hue and gently heightened flavours. Light and completely unique, it bears with pride the integrity and savoir-faire of Paix Dieu and is confident of a brilliant future for the brewery and its beers. We call it the new one, but that doesn’t do justice to Nova! For it boldly presents its golden hue to the eye, and its gently heightened flavours to the palate.

Veldwachter (Constable) Bock. Bock beer as it used to be brewed in the old days. Powerful, slightly sweet, malty, with hints of caramel and roasted malt. Of a beautiful brown, ruby red color. The Barbãr Bok is adorned with dark colours and a ruby reflection. It undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and merges the softness of honey with the strength of alcohol. The honey originates from Yucatan in Mexico and is hardly noticeable. In the brewery they maintain that the Barbãr does not taste of honey but when accompanied by a dish with added honey, the dish tastes of Barbãr. A splendid beer without compromise. In the beginning, it was only brewed in the winter and was called Barbãr Winter Bok. However, since 2008 the consumer decided otherwise. You can now also enjoy it in the summer to the great delight of lovers of brown beer. Since 2009, it has been marketed in 33 cl bottles with a swing-top cap highlighting the strong and ancient character of this beer.

After a packed Meet the Brewer, it's finally here: To Øld Fashioned. Together with our Danish friends at To Øl, we've brewed a special bock inspired by the classic Old Fashioned cocktail. This deep red bock is enriched with To Øl's own three-year-old single malt whiskey and a hint of orange. Expect rich malt notes with roasted accents and whiskey-like flavors of vanilla, caramel, and subtle oak. A warming beer to savor at your leisure. Skål!

'De Zeebock' Ooit trotseerden zij de zeven zeeën. Men vreesde deze bevlogen beestjes. Twee zinderende hoorns op een gestroomlijnd lichaam. Hun schubben dienden als harnas. Vissersboten lieten zij zinken en piraten sprongen de dood tegemoet als deze krijgers hen kwamen tarten. Wie er een wist te doden dronk zijn bloed. Don’t worry, we komen niet met een of ander lulverhaal dat dit bier het bloed van de zeebok is.... Een volle zeebock met een gezette body, geur van karamel en chocolade. Corsendonk Pater Dubbel is a soft and top-fermented dark beer, refermented and aged in bottle to a lively sparkling beer with rich foam. This beer has caramelized malt on the nose with hints of ripe fruit. Mild on the palate with wellbalanced bitterness, hints of fruit, toasted bread, liquorice, coffee and caramel.

De Gouverneur Dubbel is een ongefilterd fluweelzacht en bitterzoet bier met karakter. Het gebruik van Tettnangerhop en gebrande karamelkleurige mout zorgt voor een diepe robijnrode kleur en unieke volle smaak. Gebrouwen met traditionele lange lagering, zorgvuldig geselecteerde natuurlijke ingrediënten en kristalzuiver water uit eigen bron.

LeFort is a complex, dark beer of 10° with a sweet and fruity touch. The pale and roasted, dark barley malts give the beer a perfect balance. The beer is lightly flavored with chocolate and caramel and the high fermentation gives a slight fruitiness. This results in a dark beer with a completely unique taste.

Burorina, is a Collab with Walhalla Brewing from Amsterdam and is named after the goddess of Zeeland, is a powerful Double Dryhopped West Coast IPA. Expect crisp bitterness and an explosion of citrus, pine and tropical fruit thanks to the hop combo of Centennial, Simcoe, Chinook, Citra and Galaxy. Bright, intense and distinct, a divine beer with a bite.

This fresh hop Cold IPA showcases the unique character of freshly harvested German wet hops, delivering a bright, crisp, and modern hop expression. Brewed with a clean lager yeast and cold fermented for a crisp, bright finish. Tango hops provide juicy mandarin and citrus, Callista adds layers of berry and stone fruit notes, and Titan brings balance with herbal, floral accents and a clean bitterness. The result is a beer that drinks refreshingly dry and crisp, while bursting with vibrant, fresh hop flavour.

Genesis is a Hazy IPA that pours a pale golden color. It has a dry-hop of Palisade and Cashmere hops, which creates a kaleidoscope of aromas with notes of ripe melon, pineapple, and fresh-cut grass. Each sip reveals a soft body that fills the palate with refreshing fruity and floral flavors. A micro-universe of compounds for a universe of flavors.

Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor completes the taste pallet of our Carolus beers. “Hopsinjoor” derived from “Opsinjoor”, the typical character of Mechelen and also because of the use of 5 different kinds of hops. These hops are fractioned at a different time during the cooking process in order to conserve a maximum of aroma. Concerning the taste, the Ale has a gentle taste with a slightly bitter finish. Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor was launched in 2008 on the Zythos Beer Festival and hit the mark: the visitors elected it as best beer, bringing Het Anker “The Consumer’s trophy Zythos Beer Festival 2008”. The beer is bottled unfiltered in order to preserve the bitterness of the hop as much as possible.

Gebrouwen met Achterhoekse mout en hop, dat is onze IPA! Onze brouwers hebben hun uiterste best gedaan om weer een heerlijk smaakvolle IPA te brouwen. Onze IPA is fruitig, fris en heerlijk doordrinkbaar. Elke batch gebruiken we een uniek Achterhoeks ingrediënt. Deze HAZY IPA is gebrouwen met grote hoeveelheden lokaal geteelde Aalter Troshaver. De haver zorgt voor een troebel en volmondig bier. Uiteraard zitten er ook weer grote hoeveelheden hop in deze IPA, geleverd door onze vrienden van Hogenelst Hop! Dat wordt genieten!

It’s no secret that we’re fond of our hops at Amager Bryghus. And we use a shitload of them. Our head brewer Jacob thoroughly examines every email he receives from our hop suppliers. And messages containing news of new hop varieties or experimental hop releases sends him into a Zen like state of mind or, you might even say, borderline aroused. Over the years Jacob has tried hundreds of hop combinations, but making up new ones never seems to tire him out. Quite the contrary. Heavenly Hops is a series of new beers containing hops or hop combinations we have rarely or never used before, or experimental hops that haven’t even got a proper name yet. And no, we won’t use the same base beer for all of them, creating a tedious line of Pale Ales or whatever. The beers will naturally all be within the spectrum of hoppy beer styles, but different styles and strengths, that is. To us, hops are almost divine. We hope you’ll enjoy this beer series, Jacob’s tribute to the heavenly hops.

Marauders Of The Sea is a brand-new 6.5% IPA made in collaboration with none other than the band The Lemonheads, celebrating the band’s first new album in almost 20 years. Brewed with frontman Evan Dando right here in Penryn, it’s inspired by one of their upcoming tracks and packed with Nectaron, Krush and Citra hops for waves of citrus, pineapple and peach. The collab goes beyond the brewhouse. Verdant is sponsoring and beer-fuelling The Lemonheads’ European tour bus, and Evan will be back in Cornwall for a rare solo show at the Taproom on October 1st, supported by shoegaze legends Chapterhouse. A true meeting of beer, music and community.

Jopen Northsea IPA is an IPA (India Pale Ale) or, in old Dutch, a ‘Duraebel Scheepsbier’. These beers were extra strongly brewed and extra hopped so that they could be taken along on the long sea voyages to the Dutch East Indies (current-day Indonesia). Nowadays this type of beer is making a comeback because American brewers have breathed new life into this brewing style. This hoppy amber beer is named after the lake between the towns of Spaarndam and Haarlem, the Mooie Nel (literally: Beautiful Nel). The beer has received an extra hop addition to the tank after fermentation to give it a clear hop character. Silver medal winner Brussels beer Challenge 2014.

Our brewers, in a stroke of genius, have forged a new path, crafting a Vegan Oat Cream IPA so smooth it feels like a dream. We bypassed the trad ways, skipping the lactose and let the colossal dose of oats make its magic. The result is a body as soft and boundless as a cloud. It's bursting with intense tropical aromas of passion fruit, and mango balanced with a "dank" hemp profile. A truly snackable hop bite with a oat heart.

Dryhopped West Coast DIPA In early 1992 a huge cargo ship left Hong Kong, destined for Tacoma in the Pacific Northwest of USA. On January 10th the ship ran into a heavy storm in the North Pacific and a container filled with 28.000 yellow rubberducks spilled into the sea, liberating the ducks. Until now everyone has believed the incident to be entirely accidental, but a journalist now claims to have met the leader of a whole colony of rubberducks living on the remote Hawaiian island of Lehua. According to the leader of the Rubberduck Revolutionary Front, operating under his nom de guerre ‘Moby Duck’, the incident wasn’t accidental at all. “When we heard the storm coming, we started rocking the container. We may be small, but when there’s 28.000 of us, we can pull some weight”, he apparently told the journalist. According to Moby Duck, the rubberducks were fed up with a designated life with snotty babies in bathtubs full of pee and poop. “Why don’t we deserve a happy life, just because because we are small, rubbery and yellow?”, he asks rhetorically in the interview. And according to the journalist, Lehua has turned into a pure rubberduck paradise, as free rubberducks are happy rubberducks. The rubberduck revolution may have been the most peaceful revolution in the history of duckkind, as not a single shot was fired. But eternal freedom was achieved for these lil’ peace loving critters.

For ten years, our mission has been to brew exceptional beers. To celebrate this milestone, we've created Top Ten, the centerpiece of our anniversary series and the official beer of our tenth birthday. This commemorative DDH DIPA represents everything we've learned and everything we're passionate about. Its design is a tribute to the landscapes, flora, and fauna of the Basque Country, which make our land so special. We've selected the best hops to give it a lush and powerful character, with 25g/L of hops that highlight the intense tropical notes accompanied by red fruits like currants, with an intense "dank" character and a rounded flavor that take the beer straight to the top.

De intense amberkleur is te danken aan een speciaal geselecteerde donkere mout. Betty Ford bier is vernoemd naar Betty Ford, de voormalige First Lady van de Verenigde Staten, en draagt daarmee een historische en culturele verwijzing naar de Betty Ford Clinic. Het bier zelf is een eerbetoon maar verwijst vooral als gimmick naar het lage alcoholgehalte in het Wilderen portfolio.

Gouden Carolus Ambrio is aromatically brewed according to the ancient recipe of the Mechelschen Bruynen. Ambrio is an 'amber' ale brewed with 'brio'. This white beer of high fermentation finds its origin in the traditional beer of the city of Mechelen. As each city had its own typical beer, the Mechelenians drunk their amber beer: "Mechelschen Bruynen" for hundreds of years. Our brewery is the only brewery that still brews this type of beer. According to the tradition the basic recipe of this beer dates from 1421 and is therefore the oldest beer from the brewery. The current version is slightly heavier than the original and finer hopped. The balance between the different malts, the fine hops and typical aromas with herbs ensure that this beer combines the whole-hearted nature of brown beers with the freshness of blonde beers. This flavored and spicy light brown tasting beer should be served fairly fresh. Refermentation in the bottle.

Gouden Carolus Classic, the ‘Grand Imperial Beer’ from Mechelen, is brewed with dark, very balanced dosed caramel and aromatic malts. This unique beer combines the warmth of wine and the freshness of beer. This makes it very suitable in combination with culinary specialties such as stews, pâtés, ripened or strong cheeses. A Northern German (Friesian) Pilsener that is characteristic of the style. It is a little more hoppy than Czech pilseners giving it a more bitter ("herb" in German) flavour.

The Kaapse Ludwig is a 6,0% Octoberfest Lager (Festbier) brewed with six different types of barleymalt, modern Callista hops and a special lager yeaststrain from Munich. It is named after King Ludwig the 1st of Bavaria. His marriage to Theresia in 1810 is still celebrated in Munich every year as Oktoberfest.

Theresia. A Smoked Munich Helles. Helles lager is Czech Pilsners cousin from Southern Germany. Bright Pale Golden, Malty Smooth upfront and super crisp and dry in the finish. Theresia has an added subtle smokey twist.

Brewed in Belgium, PAX is a true Belgian pilsner, crafted by master brewers since 1937. The passing of craftsmanship and tradition from father to son and of master brewer to master brewer is one of the most important values of Brewery Cornelissen. Our 3rd-generation brewer, Jaak Cornelissen, brought this pilsner to the market in remembrance of World War 1 and named it PAX after the ‘Goddess of Peace’. It's a delicious malty Lager brewed according to the old Belgian ‘pils’ brewing tradition.

Voor het tweede jaar brouwt Muifel een Fresh Hop bier. Dit jaar hebben we gekozen voor de traditionele Duitse hop Spalter Select. Er is Duitse hop gebruikt tijdens het brouwen en voor het dry-hoppen tijdens lagering. In de afvultank is 20 kg verse, onbehandelde Spalter Select hop van BrabantHop uit Sint Oedenrode toegevoegd. ‘s Ochtends hing de hop nog aan de ranken, ‘s middags zwommen de bellen al in het bier in de afvultank. Dit bier is gebrouwen met Nederlandse pilsmout en een ondergist. Een heerlijk hoppig Edellager bier dus. Proost!

A banging Imperial stout brewed with coconut and a Caturra coffee from Costa Rica. All stouts are dark and mysterious, but the VBDCK brewers deepen its typical roasted flavours even further by lightly hopping the brew or adding coffee or chocolate during the brewing process for a sweet-mocha touch.

Made using roasted malts, Monk’s Stout Dupont was first made in the 1950s in our farm-brewery. We decided to revive the recipe 60 years later to pay tribute to it. Without an updated flavour, it still has its original name and look. This very dark beer has lovely aromas of chocolate and coffee, introduced by the use of special roasted malts. There is a consistent freshness thanks to the citrus notes from the hops. There is no sweetness on the palate, but rather a clean, marked bitterness; beautifully thirst-quenching. Best served at cellar temperature (12°C) or slightly chilled. Monk’s Stout Dupont goes down particularly well with shellfish, sushi, blue cheese and Moinette Vieux cheese.

The flagship of the O’Hara’s brand, this uniquely Irish stout brings one back to how Irish stouts used to taste. First brewed in 1999, it has since been awarded prestigious honours for its quality and authenticity. O’Hara’s Irish Stout has a robust roast flavour complemented by a full-bodied and smooth mouth feel. The generous addition of Fuggle hops lends a tart bitterness to the dry espresso-like finish. This beautiful beer has an almost black body and a large tan and lasting head. It’s a pretty bitter, strongly roasted coffee & malty beer. The aroma is dry, roasted, “nutty” and smokey. The strong bitter chocolate impression let it end in a nice bitter finish. This beer contains 4 different types of malt, roasted barley and 2 types of hop. The overall result is how an Imperial Stout should taste, with a Belgian touch.

Already after the first sip of this dark red-brown colored beer, you notice the difference compared with the typical Belgian style brown ales. The rich, malty body comes from the use of 4 different types of malt. Discover the different touches of a stout but in a very nicely balanced way: roast, chocolate, coffee, vanilla,... A Vault City twist on a festive favourite from Holland. This imperial stout combines chocolate wheat, malt and oats to create a rich chocolatey base with layers of warming spices, paying homage to a Dutch holiday tradition

Gouden Carolus Cuvée van de Keizer Imperial Dark was enriched by an infusion of Gouden Carolus Single Malt whisky. The result is a unique beer: powerful and full-bodied, with subtle touches of vanilla, oak and chocolate. An imperial brew to cherish and enjoy in moderation.

Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel, launched in 2010, is an intense beer, dark in colour and full in taste. The aroma is elegant, spicy and slightly roasted. Saison Dupont is a world classic beer and the yardstick for one of Belgium’s most important beer styles. It is the most admired AND imitated Saison in the world. A strong, vital yeast is key to full attenuation and thus to the style. Saison Dupont is straw colored with a dense creamy head. The nose is alive, like fresh raised bread, estery with citrus and spice notes. Full-bodied and malty, it sparkles on the palate and finishes with a zesty hop and citrus attack. Incredibly compatible with food!

Vroeger werd voor de kust van Texel zeewier geoogst voor het onderhoud van dijken, de isolatie van huizen en de vulling van matrassen. Nu is die zilte oogst is direct verwerkt in dit bier. Het resultaat is een strogele Saison met een frisse geur van citrus en zee. De smaak is kruidig, licht bitter en vooral heerlijk fris. Het ziltige van het zeewier komt aangenaam terug in de nasmaak.

Amber-coloured Trappist ale with a broken white head. A lovely combination of herbal, floral and fruity aromas. La Trappe Isid’or was first brewed in 2009 on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of The Koningshoeven Brewery. The harmonious taste starts off fruity and shifts to malty caramel. A perfectly balanced ale. The ale is named after Brother Isidorus, the abbey's first brewer. The aftertaste is pleasantly bitter.

A light-blond, organic, top-fermented Trappist ale with a sturdy collar. The aroma is characterised by the refreshing and fruity aromas of the yeast, combined with the flowery scent of citrus caused by the hops. Only organic ingredients were used when brewing this Skal-certified ale. The result is an accessible, refreshing and smooth Trappist ale with a pleasant bitterness and a mild, dry finish.

A characteristically Trappist ale with a warm amber colour and a cream-coloured head. The aroma is associated with clover and nuts, balanced by the sweet aromas of vanilla, raisins and banana. La Trappe Quadrupel is the heaviest of all the La Trappe Trappist ales and it is also the source for the name of this style. A full, heart-warming and intense taste. Malty with sweet tones of dates and caramel. The aftertaste is smooth and slightly bitter.

A golden blonde Trappist ale with a white head. Fruity aromas of peach and apricot combined with a floral aroma. La Trappe Tripel is a classic Trappist ale with a powerful and full flavour. In addition, this ale has a candy-sweet and light malty character. The aftertaste is bitter and slightly dry.

Light-blonde, cloudy with a firm and long-lasting head. The aroma is slightly sour and refreshing due to the use of wheat malt combined with a floral and fruity (citrus, peach, apricot) hop aroma. The flavour is smooth, malty, lightly sour with a tingling sensation due to the carbonation. The aftertaste is bitter and dry. A consistently drinkable, refreshing thirst quencher.

NOTE: The ABV-value of this beer varies, in the United States 6.9% is used. The Orval’s brewery produces only one beer to sell, a beer with a high fermentation that continues in the bottle. It is 6.2% ABV. This beer is brewed exclusively from spring water, barley malt, hop cones, candy sugar, and yeast. The aroma and the fine taste are due more to the hop cones and the yeast than to the malt that is used. What’s special about Orval’s beer is that hops are added at two different stages of the production process. First, in the brewing room, a large quantity of very fine hops are added – this produces the famous bitter taste and is the reason why the beer keeps for a longer period of time. Later, in the storage cellars, hops are once again added. This is the so-called British “dry hopping,” which produces the delightful aroma that completely enraptures even the most carefully forewarned taster. In the tasting room, Orval’s beer and cheese make a really good pair: the unique shape of the bottle and the glass, the design of the label, the coasters and other publicity materials – it’s all a legacy from the early 1930’s.

Originally called "Spécial," Rochefort 8 dates to the mid-1950s. The name comes from the original gravity in "Belgian degrees." Deep brown color; the flavor is vigorous and complex, with firm body to support the strength. The aroma has elusive notes of fresh fruit, spice, leather, and figs. ABV 9.2 IBU 22

Zundert 10 Trappist is een quadrupel met een licht kruidige toets die onze bieren kenmerkt. Dit trappistenbier is diep roodbruin van kleur, met een mooie, licht beige, schuimkraag. De geur geeft hints van gedroogde zuidvruchten, zwoele kruiden, drop en een beetje chocolade. De smaak is vol en zacht, in balans gebracht door een mooie hopbitterheid. In de nasmaak keert de Zundertse kruidigheid subtiel terug.

Zundert 4 Refterbier is een licht bier, met maar 4% alcohol. Natuurlijk is het een echte Zundert Trappist, dus het kruidige element ontbreekt niet. Voor dit bier grijpen wij terug op het gebruik van rogge als brouwgraan. Rogge werd vroeger veel in de omgeving van de abdij geteeld, ook voor het brouwen van bier. Het zorgt voor een kruidige toets. Daarnaast is een karakteristiek kruid uit de omgeving toegevoegd, zoals bij al Zundert Trappistbieren. Hoewel het bier licht is, heeft het hierdoor wel degelijk karakter. De naam verwijst naar de eetzaal van een klooster, die ‘refter’ genoemd wordt.

Zundert Trappist is een kastanjekleurig bovengistend bier met nagisting op fles. Het bevat 8% alcohol. We hebben gekozen voor een bier dat we ‘een beetje weerbarstig’ noemen. Dat wil zeggen, Zundert Trappist is een bier dat je de tijd moet geven om daadwerkelijk te doorgronden. Ons trappistenbier heeft een veelbelovende geur met een zweem van kruiden en specerijen. In de aanzet is Zundert Trappist bloemig en iets zoet. Geef het bier wat tijd en het karakter evolueert van licht karamel naar een mooie en droge hopbitterheid. In de lange afdronk vloeien de bitters samen met een aangename kruidigheid op de achtergrond.

Corsendonk Agnus Tripel is a spicy top-fermented blond beer, also refermented in the bottle and matured into a lively sparkling beer with a spicy bouquet and hopped aftertaste.

Gouden Carolus Tripel was originally brewed for the Knights of the Golden Fleece in 1491. This golden specialty beer is brewed with the best Belgian ripe barley and hops, to preserve as much pure aroma as possible. Ideal with chicken, spicy dishes or fine, soft cheeses. Elected World’s Best Triple (World Beer Awards 2012).

Straffe Hendrik is a Bitter Tripel Ale of 9% abv. The beer was originally from Bruges and brewed in Bruges by brewery De Halve Maan. In 1981, Henri Maes and his daughter Véronique followed the demand of the mayor and created a strong blond beer for the inauguration of the statue of Sint-Arnoldus, the saint of all beer-brewers. However, the beer became so popular, that the demand for the beer continued. It was given the name of Straffe Hendrik (Strong Hendrick), since it was a rich and strong beer. Today, Straffe Hendrik is the last authentic Tripel Ale of Bruges.

Go on a discovery: "Meine Hopfenweisse" - the incomparable experience of indulgent drinking, that exceeds all expectations … hoppy, but flowery, bitter and full-bodied, and still with a sweet malty aroma - this is how multifaceted wheat beer can actually be. A real delight in the special Schneider way! And when it comes to spicy dishes or refined chocolates the "Hopfenweisse" unleashes no less than a pleasant tremor of the senses.

A full-bodied, Amsterdam wheat beer that is dangerously ‘moreish’. Slightly cloudy, it has a beautiful golden colour and a soft, foamy head. When we brew IJwit, we use wheat malt as well as barley malt, which is also how the beer gets its name. The wheat malt gives the beer a delightful, fresh flavour, and the addition of coriander and lemon during the brewing process produces a rich aroma of banana, citrus and spices. Topped off by a fine, slightly sweet aftertaste, IJwit is a delicious thirst-quencher.

Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-pored white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour. It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. To be enjoyed at any time (always a pleasure / enjoyment), goes excellently with fish and seafood, with spicy cheese and especially with the traditional Bavarian veal sausage. Our dark wheat beer is impressive with its creamy white foam. A fruity-fresh sweetness and hints of mature bananas harmonise with delicious flavours of roasted malt, sparkling and full-bodied with a light caramel taste on the first sip. Rodenbach Alexander is a blend of 2/3rd aged Rodenbach (2 year matured beer from oak standing Foeders) and 1/3rd young ale, then macerated with sour cherries.

It isn't really all that strange that most of us totally dig berries. Think about it: For most of us, berries were some of the first foods we ever had. Depending on your age, your mom would probably have been picking, mashing or boiling them little berries to make you a delicious purée when you were just a wee kiddo, OR she would have bought them little smoothie packs that even today - as adults - we are so tempted to buy in the store and slurp on the spot in one quick go. And when we become serious adults, then we go for the berried fruit beers - and this right here is exactly such a thing, a hip fruit bomb. The Americans claim that cheesecake is their invention, of course they do. But as with so many other things in life, they are not correct. Cheesecakes go all the way back to Roman or even Greek times, and the more modern interpretations we owe to the British. Thank you. However, we may give the Americans that they came up with the idea of pairing this lovely, fluffy pie with fruit and berries – and blueberries in particular. With their distinct color, blueberries just mix perfectly with the pale cheese and create a neat balance of sweet and tart that makes an almost irresistible mélange. We cannot give you a Blueberry cheesecake in a can, but we have tried getting as close as we possibly can!

For this unique blend, we brought together 50% Eylenbosch cherry lambic with 50% Alvinne Chain Reaction matured in Chateauneuf du Pape foeder, enriched with fragrant fig leaves. The cherry lambic provides its deep red colour, lively acidity and fruity character. The foeder beer adds layers of soft wood tones and subtle exotic aromas of fig leaf. The result? “Something really sour, and with Scottish fruit” Kim said to us when we started planning our collaboration. We both wanted a punchy beer with a strong punchline – and that’s exactly how Cowboy Canned Laughter was born. Following our original Canned Laughter collab with Ed Gamble, our latest sour in the series takes inspiration from ‘Cowboy’, Kim’s Edinburgh Fringe show; an ode to ‘winging it’ and doing your best to make sense of it all. Both concepts which feel right at home for team Vault City. This beer is packed to the brim with juicy fresh fruit flavour combining blueberries, honeyberries, vanilla and zesty lemon to leave you grinning after every sip. Duchesse de Bourgogne from Brouwerij Verhaeghe is the traditional Flemish red ale. This refreshing ale is matured in oak casks; smooth with a rich texture and interplay of passion fruit, and chocolate, and a long, dry and acidic finish. After the first and secondary fermentation, the beer goes for maturation into the oak barrels for 18 months. The final product is a blend of younger 8 months old beer with 18 months old beer. The average age of the Duchesse de Bourgogne before being bottled is 12 months.

Lambic is one of the world's oldest beers. According to some, it is also the best, even if its characteristic acidity does not please all palates. To offset this acidity, some decided to add sugar to it. Thus faro was born. Adding sugar syrup to lambic was a revelation at the time of Bruegel. (Some even argue that without faro, Bruegel would have been deprived of inspiration and would have remained an ordinary amateur painter whose canvases couldn't even have been sold at a flea market.) Until the 19th century, faro was very prevalent in the Brussels region. Folklore there was frequently associated with it, and the divine liquid flowed like water. Then faro fell into oblivion. It was not until 1978 that our family brought it back to centre stage. Or centre Senne, as you prefer. Particularly appreciated after physical exertion, faro is not only easy to drink, it is a joy to do so.

Ever tried heating up ice cream? Yeah, us neither - but hey, why not, in this winter edition of Gelato we're going for flavors that'll remind you of mulled wine; red grapes, raspberries, blackcurrant, plus a cozy mix of cinnamon, cloves, and orange peel.

Boon Geuze Mariage Parfait has an alcohol content of 8%. It consists of 95% mild lambic, aged at least three years and specially reserved for this purpose, and 5% young lambic. The latter provides the fermentable sugars and wild yeasts. After mixing in a vessel of 25,000 litres, the wort (unfermented mixture) is filtered and chilled. If we are bottling, we bring it back to fermentation temperature. The bottles are placed in a climate-controlled space for the secondary fermentation. This is followed by maturing at low temperature for at least 6 months. Want to know the bottling date? Simply subtract 20 years from the “best before” date! The soft, mildly sour berry taste, harmonises with the oak barrels’ aromas in which Geuze Mariage Parfait has ripen. The body speaks of vanilla followed by a bitter aftertaste of cloves that becomes increasingly intense. Sublime.

The pale hue with a slight cloudiness gives a natural character to Go Skinny-dipping. On the nose, a fresh, lively aroma meets you. Think green apple, lemon peel and a hint of young peach! The first sip is immediately refreshing: slightly acidic, tingly and thirst-quenching. The soft acidity is nicely balanced and brings a sparkling freshness, with flavours of white grape, berries and clove. The mouthfeel is light and lively but at the same time, thanks to the wheat, you experience a soft mouthfeel with a subtle, spicy touch. The finish is short but invigorating: dry, with a lingering tingle and a clean, fresh aftertaste that invites another sip. The beer doesn’t linger, but leaves just enough to tempt you again.

Fruited sour inspired by the Cosmopolitan cocktail! With cranberry & lime.

"For this month’s Signature Edition, we added sweet Amarena cherries to a Philly-soured beer not just a few, but a lot! Are we done? No man, there's more! We also packed it with cacao and a hint of lactose. The result? One of our favourite pastries: the German Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte… but liquid! Drinking this feels like a kiss, a kiss of kirsch. Enjoy!"

For this speciality, we use old and young lambic beer that has aged in our oak casks. When the lambic is 6 months old, we add 25% black cherries. This provokes the second fermentation. We then clarify, filter and bottle it. The cherries and young lambic create a red beer that is both natural and fresh, with an absolutely unforgettable sweet and sour taste. This is kriek as it should be, with nothing but real cherries and lambic. There is no place for artificial colourings or flavourings.

Formerly known as Liefmans Kriek and Cuvée - Brut. This classy beer represents the perfect marriage between the fresh accents and slightly acidic flavour of the black cherries. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a mixed fermentation beer, with every hectolitre containing up to 13 kilos of fruit! Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a perfect blend of Oud Bruin and Goudenband from different vintages, and can consist of between 15 and 20 different batches of beers. The beer is matured for 18 months, bringing out the very best of its intense flavour. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a deep reddish-brown colour, with a pale head and wood and almond notes. On the palette, you can clearly taste the slightly sweet, yet at the same time gently bitter fruit flavours. This is a beer that just oozes class…

Oude Geuze Boon is a monument of taste with an alcohol content of 7%. It’s a magnificent blend of 90% mild 18 month-old lambic, 5% strong 3 year-old beer and 5% very young lambic, which provides fermentable sugars and wild yeasts. All our beers are aged in oak casks, mixed in a vessel of 25,000 litres and chilled. Before bottling, we bring the mix to fermentation temperature. The bottles are then placed in an air-conditioned room, which leads to a secondary fermentation in the bottle. This is when the lambic becomes gueuze. After several months of aging in the bottle, the gueuze develops its delicate flavour. Want to know the bottling date? Simply subtract 20 years from the “best before” date! Taste carefully and you will uncover a fruity grapefruit and ginger flavour with a hint of Muscat grapes. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by the wholehearted body and the sublime finish – an explosion of Germanic and Romance cultures.

No April fool here, this is the first gueuze in a can ever! Can-conditioned at 100%. A few kegs were also produced. This PETITE GUEUZE TILQUIN is a blend of 70% 1-year-old light Meerts and 30% 2-year-old lambics, all spontaneously fermented and matured in oak barrels. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, this beer was given 2 months to spontaneously refermented in the can. It will surely keep evolving but its ready to drink, super refreshing, ideal for the coming summer ! It was canned with the help of our friends from Brasserie Minne (Somme-Leuze). 12.450 cans were produced.

RODENBACH is the unique & original “Flanders Red Ale”, recognised as a traditional local product. Mixed main fermentation and maturation in oak casks (“foeders”) give it the same sweet-sour flavour and complex fruitiness as wine. RODENBACH consists of 3/4 young beer and 1/4 beer matured two years in oak. It's is highly refreshing and appetising: the perfect apéritif or session ale! Since 1821.

This is an aged Belgian red ale, which is ‘ripened quietly in oak barrels for two years’, according to the label. It has an extremely pungent aroma of rich grapey fruit, with acidic notes, very much like a slightly sour red wine or possibly a gueuze. In the mouth it is slightly sweet, extremely acidic and fruity, with grapes and even cherries discernible, and very lively. Despite the sweetness it is not at all cloying, even thin, with little or no trace of malt. Finish is sharp and fruity.

Berliner Weisse with LOADS of real strawberry, raspberry and lemon, with a hint of biscuity vanilla. Lambicus Faro is a historical Brussels beer. Candy sugar is delicately added to a traditional barrel-aged lambic, giving a sweeter note with apples aromas.

Originally called "Ouden Tripel", this ancient West Flanders Brown beer has found a new élan as a regional specialty under its current name: "VanderGhinste Roodbruin". The main ingredients of our Vanderghinste Oud Bruin are malted barley, wheat, hops, water, and caramelized malts. These are used to brew a top-fermented beer. Blending this beer with lambic beer aged in oak for 18 months results in this specific West Flanders Brown beer. Its typical flavour is characterized by a well-balanced, hardly noticeable sourness. This first flavour impression is soon followed by a second pleasant discovery: a slight bitterness followed by a hint of sweetness.

From the ruins of 2023’s session sour comes its imperial successor, a sour that pushes the Geiger counter firmly into the red. Charged with lemon, lime, kiwi, and apple, Wasteland delivers an intensely sour blast and an intense glowing green colour. This is not for the faint of tart, Vault Dwellers are an endangered species after all…

Lindemans Brewery proudly presents Gueuze Dark Cuvée René, an exclusive lambic blend in honor of the 85th birthday of René Lindemans, the 5th generation of our family brewery. The name "Dark" refers to the deep, dark color of the lambic that forms the base of this special Gueuze. Its unique color and flavorful character are the result of the use of roasted wheat and aging in 20-year-old oak cognac barrels, a nod to René's pioneering spirit. The flavor is a subtle balance between the fresh, sour complexity and the warm, elegant touch of cognac. The limited edition of only 20,000 bottles.

Fellowship 2024 Ale No 1 Narya is a spontaneous fermented beer, where wort was added to Divico grapes from Winery Hoenshof in Belgium. After 7 months of maceration and fermentation, Narya was barrel aged on Chateau Siran Margaux barrels for another 6 months.

Fellowship 2024 Ale No 6 There lies, tucked in the heart of the Shire, a place where tales grow tall and mugs are never empty - The Green Dragon Inn. Born of mixed fermentation and aged with the patience of old innkeepers, Phi was laid to rest in barrels of Wild Turkey Bourbon and Tawny Port, where time wove its magic. The sourness sings like a fiddler at dusk, lively and bright, while the barrel's kiss adds depth, warmth, and echoes of distant lands. Thus, the beer took on a name worthy of song: The Green Dragon Inn - a drink to rouse the heart, loosen the tongue, and remind all who sip it of home, hearth, and the road that ever goes on.

Corsendonk Dubbel Kriek is a high density, fruity beer. Visually, Corsendonk Dubbel Kriek has a characteristic brown-purple color and a beautiful foam. On the nose and palate, the fragrant juice and natural cherry flavor dominate this sweet cherry beer.

Traditional Duchesse de Bourgogne with Belgian cherries and chocolate essence added during the maturation process in oak casks (foeders). 20 kg of whole Belgian cherries are used in the production of each 100 liters of Chocolate Duchesse Cherry.

The appearance of this exceptional beer is matched only by its taste. Lindemans Framboise blends one-year-old lambic with delicious, ripe raspberries, providing a delicate fruity aroma, indulgent raspberry flavor and a beautiful dark pink colour.
