The ambition was to brew a low-alcohol beer that everyone here at Verdant wanted to drink. This meant spending 6 months refining recipes and completing countless staff tastings, to ensure everyone was happy! And so, finally, we are delighted to release our first BIG batch of Low Alcohol IPA into the world. Weighing in at just 0.5%, this hopped-up little beauty utilises a clever yeast and traditional brewing techniques, instead of special hardware to remove the alcohol from the beer. The result is a crisp, clear, hoppy, 0.5% IPA packed with our favourite hops, that you can enjoy this Dry January and all year long! Hops: (Chinook, Mosaic, Simcoe, Citra & El Dorado)

Our golden-yellow, alcohol-free wheat beer tastes like a premium wheat beer: tangy, fresh and full-bodied, with hints of cloves and honey as well as a fine yeasty spirit. The unique wheat beer taste is achieved by a method developed in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich-Weihenstephan: the top fermentation is not interrupted and the beer has time to mature, only after the maturation the alcohol is carefully withdrawn. It is a first-class thirst quencher after sports or a good companion to light summer dishes, sweet and sour dishes, or fruit sorbets. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Averbode is een blond abdijbier dat gedryhopped is en met nagisting op fles.Het heeft een goudgele kleur met een fijne schuimkraag. Met geurige aroma's van bloemen, groene appels, zoetigheid en hop. Door de vier soorten hop komt er een hoppige smaak naar voren. Het palet is volmondig, moutzoetig en met een aangenaam hopkarakter. De afdronk is fris, vol en bitter.

Strong, Blond, Belgian. 8.5% Vol. CORNET is a blond Belgian beer with a unique taste: powerful yet soft, thanks to the addition of oak wood chips during the brewing process.

The allusion to pink elephants and the choice of names is not due to chance. With a particular character, the unique taste results from triple fermentation and the use of three different yeast strains. Sweet, biscuit malt backbone, supported by pleasant warmth and spice, finishes well rounded, floral, and dry. Color and Sight: Pale blond, the fine and regular sparkle creates a nice, stable foam head. Scent: Slightly malty, heavy touch of alcohol, spicy. Taste: A good shot of alcohol ignites in the mouth, as it were, which really warms the tongue and palate. The taste is also characterized by its roundness. The finish is strong, long and dry bitter.

Duvel is a natural beer with a subtle bitterness, a refined flavour and a distinctive hop character. The unique brewing process, which takes about 90 days, guarantees a pure character, delicate effervescence and a pleasant sweet taste of alcohol. Apart from pure spring water, which is the main ingredient of beer, barley is the most important raw material. Barley must germinate for five days in the malt house, after which malt remains. The colour of the malt and as a consequence also of the beer is determined by the temperature. Duvel obtains its typical bitterness by adding various varieties of aromatic Slovenian and Czech hops. We use only exclusive hops that are renowned for their constant, outstanding quality. Duvel ferments for the first time in tanks at 20 to 26°C. The brewer uses his own culture for this. The original yeast strain, which Victor Moortgat himself selected in the 1920’s, originates from Scotland. After maturing in storage tanks in which the beer is cooled down to -2°C, the drink is ready for bottling. Thanks to the addition of extra sugars and yeast, the beer ferments again in the bottle. This occurs in warm cellars (24°C) and takes two weeks. Then the beer is moved to cold cellars, where it continues to mature and stabilise for a further six weeks. This extra long maturation period is unique and contributes to the refined flavour and pure taste of Duvel.

Zijn krachtig temperament met uitbundige mouttoetsen prikkelt, terwijl de verrassend zachte smaak verleidt. Het is een diepblonde furie vol fruitige finesse. Maar laat je niet misleiden: Imperial Blond is helemaal op zijn Duvels gebrouwen. Weliswaar een tint donkerder van kleur, maar nog steeds herkenbaar helder gefilterd én met die karakteristieke hergisting op fles. Het alcoholgehalte van 10% zorgt voor een krachtige aanzet, terwijl de royale moutgift de scherpste kantjes afrondt. De karakteristieke Duvel-hoppen Saaz-Saaz en Styrian Golding werden iets anders gebalanceerd, en dat maakt hem duidelijk fruitiger en zachter, en ook minder bitter. Het is geven en nemen… dus geef er ons nog maar een.

Accessible spicy blonde beer of only 5.5 vol% matured in gin barrels This beer has matured in eight months ‘Villiers’ gin barrels and 8 months in bottle. Noblesse VSOP is thus a clear beer, and has a very fine, light bitterness of hops and juniper. The beer is refreshing, smooth and has sufficiently long aftertaste. A perfect thirst-quenching beer. Corsendonk Pater Dubbel is a soft and top-fermented dark beer, refermented and aged in bottle to a lively sparkling beer with rich foam. This beer has caramelized malt on the nose with hints of ripe fruit. Mild on the palate with wellbalanced bitterness, hints of fruit, toasted bread, liquorice, coffee and caramel.

De Gouverneur Dubbel is een ongefilterd fluweelzacht en bitterzoet bier met karakter. LeFort is a complex, dark beer of 10° with a sweet and fruity touch. The pale and roasted, dark barley malts give the beer a perfect balance. The beer is lightly flavored with chocolate and caramel and the high fermentation gives a slight fruitiness. This results in a dark beer with a completely unique taste.

Burorina, is a Collab with Walhalla Brewing from Amsterdam and is named after the goddess of Zeeland, is a powerful Double Dryhopped West Coast IPA. Expect crisp bitterness and an explosion of citrus, pine and tropical fruit thanks to the hop combo of Centennial, Simcoe, Chinook, Citra and Galaxy. Bright, intense and distinct, a divine beer with a bite.

No, you're not tripping. An American IPA, double dry-hopped during mid-and-late fermentation with 4 hops - including Citra Cryo - spin out for a cloudy, chunky, citrus mouthful of hop. You might want to sit down for this.

The telltale signs of Daytime Drinking aren't hard to find. Most of the time, that person has an alcoholic beverage in hand, doesn't give a flying f**k about what time it is and usually has a great time while doing so. And so are we. Us (semi professional) brewers start our day early, 6am. Much like bakers, who also handle grains, water and yeast, we get up early to master and practice our craft. And to make sure we did a good job, we always sample our beers before packaging. So we're basically always drinking. If we were to choose, we'd drink lagers all day. So it is only fitting that this beer is a lager, brewed with the experimental hop HBC1134. It's just nice, drink it.. go.

Gentle Giant is inspired by Marijn, the second winner of our IPA label competition! A powerhouse on the rugby field, Marijn is as strong as they come, but off the pitch, he's all about camaraderie, good vibes, and the legendary third half. To celebrate him, we've crafted a sharpshooting single hop IPA featuring superdelic hops. Expect an electrifying burst of citrus, tropical fruit, and subtle berry notes, wrapped in a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Bold yet silky, full of life but never overpowering, this beer plays hard and finishes smooth, just like Marijn! Go big, stay gentle, and enjoy the game!

Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor completes the taste pallet of our Carolus beers. “Hopsinjoor” derived from “Opsinjoor”, the typical character of Mechelen and also because of the use of 5 different kinds of hops. These hops are fractioned at a different time during the cooking process in order to conserve a maximum of aroma. Concerning the taste, the Ale has a gentle taste with a slightly bitter finish. Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor was launched in 2008 on the Zythos Beer Festival and hit the mark: the visitors elected it as best beer, bringing Het Anker “The Consumer’s trophy Zythos Beer Festival 2008”. The beer is bottled unfiltered in order to preserve the bitterness of the hop as much as possible.

A strong and gluten-free IPA. This variant has been made with mosaic hops and has a pronounced mix of piney, tropical and citrussy hoppy aroma's.

To celebrate the return of Little Summer Beer Bash at HQ, it only made sense to make the festival beer an IPA! Brewed in collaboration with our good friends at Left Handed Giant and DEYA, we used ingredients from some of our top supply partners, combining beautiful lots of Crosby Amarillo and El Dorado, with NZ Hops Nectaron and Nelson Sauvin. A juicy, festival-ready beverage perfect for such an epic beer gathering. Even if you’re not heading to the event, this can will get you in the mood.

Jopen Northsea IPA is an IPA (India Pale Ale) or, in old Dutch, a ‘Duraebel Scheepsbier’. These beers were extra strongly brewed and extra hopped so that they could be taken along on the long sea voyages to the Dutch East Indies (current-day Indonesia). Nowadays this type of beer is making a comeback because American brewers have breathed new life into this brewing style. This hoppy amber beer is named after the lake between the towns of Spaarndam and Haarlem, the Mooie Nel (literally: Beautiful Nel). The beer has received an extra hop addition to the tank after fermentation to give it a clear hop character. Silver medal winner Brussels beer Challenge 2014.

Texels Overzee IPA is een verfrissende IPA met een eigenzinnig Texels karakter. Boordevol natuurlijke ingrediënten, waaronder Texelse gerst en accenten van citrus en abrikoos. Even before drinking it, you’re surprised by the explosion of fruity aromas from the dry-hopping with American hops. But the adventure only starts here. The combination of a Belgian Triple style body with a nice balanced IPA (Indian Pale Ale) bitterness takes you on a long trip of sensations.

Gouden Carolus Ambrio is aromatically brewed according to the ancient recipe of the Mechelschen Bruynen. Ambrio is an 'amber' ale brewed with 'brio'. This white beer of high fermentation finds its origin in the traditional beer of the city of Mechelen. As each city had its own typical beer, the Mechelenians drunk their amber beer: "Mechelschen Bruynen" for hundreds of years. Our brewery is the only brewery that still brews this type of beer. According to the tradition the basic recipe of this beer dates from 1421 and is therefore the oldest beer from the brewery. The current version is slightly heavier than the original and finer hopped. The balance between the different malts, the fine hops and typical aromas with herbs ensure that this beer combines the whole-hearted nature of brown beers with the freshness of blonde beers. This flavored and spicy light brown tasting beer should be served fairly fresh. Refermentation in the bottle.

Gouden Carolus Classic, the ‘Grand Imperial Beer’ from Mechelen, is brewed with dark, very balanced dosed caramel and aromatic malts. This unique beer combines the warmth of wine and the freshness of beer. This makes it very suitable in combination with culinary specialties such as stews, pâtés, ripened or strong cheeses. Een 100% biologisch pilsner van uitsluitend biologisch geteelde gerst- en hopsoorten. Deze natuurlijke grondstoffen inspireerden onze brouwmeester tot het brouwen van eigenwijs en hoogwaardig bier. Heerlijk fris met een pittige, licht bittere twist. Zo geraffineerd dat je na één slok al verkocht bent. Puur genieten, van het beste. Dit bier is goed te combineren met lichtere maaltijden met frisse tonen, salades, vis en varkensvlees.

Ursprünglich, vollmundig, frisch Ein Bier wie früher: Bereits 1422 erhielt das ehemals Gräfliche Brauhaus vom Markgrafen von Kulmbach ein Wappen für sein gutes Bier verliehen. Dieses naturtrübe, helle Vollbier bewahrt die lange Tradition der heutigen Familienbrauerei. Ursprünglich, vollmundig, hopfig. Eben wie früher. Original, full-bodied, fresh A beer like in the old days: As early as 1422, the former Count's Brewery was awarded a coat of arms by the Margrave of Kulmbach for its good beer. This naturally cloudy, light full beer preserves the long tradition of today's family brewery. Original, full-bodied, hoppy. Just like in the old days.

A Northern German (Friesian) Pilsener that is characteristic of the style. It is a little more hoppy than Czech pilseners giving it a more bitter ("herb" in German) flavour.

Kombine 2025 is an unfiltered, full-bodied blond beer (6% ABV) with a subtle hoppy aroma. A first for St. Bernardus as we have never before brewed a bottom-fermented beer. Additionally, this beer does not undergo bottle fermentation, another first in our brewing tradition. And if that was not challenging enough, we also committed to brewing this according to the German Reinheitsgebot! We used Weihenstephan’s yeast and a blend of hops from both our own and Weihenstephan. Connoisseurs will recognize the ‘oxymoron’ or the apparent contradiction in the beer’s style and name. An unfiltered Helles is, by definition, a contradiction. We find this tension incredibly intriguing, as it mirrors the duality of our brewery: our beers are iconic and steeped in tradition and authenticity, yet we also enjoy pushing boundaries to appeal to the adventurous beer drinker. The visual identity of Kombine 2025 continues the design introduced with Braupakt. The label once again features St. Bernardus and Saint Korbinian, the founder of Weihenstephan. These two iconic figures were brought to life by the Belgian illustrator Xavier Truant, who also created the now-famous illustrations for the elevator shaft in our brewery in Watou.

Crisp, clean and golden, this lager is proof that great beer never dies... it just comes back brighter, colder and more drinkable than ever.

Unser Core Range Pilsener

Brewed in Belgium, PAX is a true Belgian pilsner, crafted by master brewers since 1937. The passing of craftsmanship and tradition from father to son and of master brewer to master brewer is one of the most important values of Brewery Cornelissen. Our 3rd-generation brewer, Jaak Cornelissen, brought this pilsner to the market in remembrance of World War 1 and named it PAX after the ‘Goddess of Peace’. It's a delicious malty Lager brewed according to the old Belgian ‘pils’ brewing tradition.

Soms moet je even out of the box gaan, en de stoute schoenen aan trekken. Daarom gebruiken we mooie hoppen waar we nog niet eerder mee gewerkt hebben om zo smaken en aroma’s te combineren die je niet zo snel samen ziet. Door tropisch fruit zoals ananas en mango. Dat samen met mooie gebrande tonen van koffie en chocolade. Een verrassing die de zintuigen zal strelen en bij iedere degustatie de smaakpapillen in extase brengt. Genieten zoals het hoort!

A beer which earns its rightful place on the dinner table as a replacement for the post dinner espresso. Our Baltic Porter boasts notes of caramel, dried fruits, dark chocolate, robusta coffee, and roasted chestnuts. This complex array of aromas and flavours, as well as the beers deep mahogany hue, arise from the addition of caramel, chocolate, and roasted malts.

A sip of Dr. Jekyll’s potion will orbit you into the multiverse. This beer was created with not 1 but 5(!) different grains to maximize its thickness. Barley, Wheat, Spelt, Oats and Rye were chosen to be the lead characters of this story and they evolved into a stout with flavor notes of biscuit and coffee. By having the beer laid to rest at negative temperatures, it now clocks in at a whopping 18%. It will leave you warm and comfortable in the darkest hours of the day. Best served at a temperature of 12°C.

Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel, launched in 2010, is an intense beer, dark in colour and full in taste. The aroma is elegant, spicy and slightly roasted. Val-Dieu Grand Cru from Brasserie De L’Abbaye Du Val-Dieu is the latest addition from Cistercian abbey of Val-Dieu, has a deep dark color, is quite oily and spicy, with aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and port wine; finishes slightly dry.

Barrel Project 2025 Saison is a saison of 11.4%, which has been aged for no less than 20 months in brandy barrels. The long wood aging gives this complex beer warm notes of oak, dried fruit, and spiciness. Expect a refined balance between saison esters and barrel-aged depth. A unique barrel-aged beer for the adventurous enthusiast.

Saisons are all about the yeast. It’s the specific strains and relatively long fermentation that create the complex spicy, fruity esters and dryness. We used to two classic strains, a “Belgian” and a “French” one to create that classic Saison experience. We are quite satisfied with it, as it has turned into a luxurious and complex beer. We thought it suitable to give it a fancy french name. We proudly present: Les Perles Du Homard.

Floral/Rustic/Soft/Dry

Saison Dupont is a world classic beer and the yardstick for one of Belgium’s most important beer styles. It is the most admired AND imitated Saison in the world. A strong, vital yeast is key to full attenuation and thus to the style. Saison Dupont is straw colored with a dense creamy head. The nose is alive, like fresh raised bread, estery with citrus and spice notes. Full-bodied and malty, it sparkles on the palate and finishes with a zesty hop and citrus attack. Incredibly compatible with food!

Vroeger werd voor de kust van Texel zeewier geoogst voor het onderhoud van dijken, de isolatie van huizen en de vulling van matrassen. Nu is die zilte oogst is direct verwerkt in dit bier. Het resultaat is een strogele Saison met een frisse geur van citrus en zee. De smaak is kruidig, licht bitter en vooral heerlijk fris. Het ziltige van het zeewier komt aangenaam terug in de nasmaak.

Golden yellow Trappist ale with a white head and a rich flavour. The fruity and refreshing aromas go well with the sweet smell of malt and aromas reminiscent of spices. The result is an agreeable and tingling ale with a lightly sweet, smoothly bitter and malty taste. The aftertaste is characterised by a combination of sweetness and smooth bitterness.

Amber-coloured Trappist ale with a broken white head. A lovely combination of herbal, floral and fruity aromas. La Trappe Isid’or was first brewed in 2009 on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of The Koningshoeven Brewery. The harmonious taste starts off fruity and shifts to malty caramel. A perfectly balanced ale. The ale is named after Brother Isidorus, the abbey's first brewer. The aftertaste is pleasantly bitter.

A light-blond, organic, top-fermented Trappist ale with a sturdy collar. The aroma is characterised by the refreshing and fruity aromas of the yeast, combined with the flowery scent of citrus caused by the hops. Only organic ingredients were used when brewing this Skal-certified ale. The result is an accessible, refreshing and smooth Trappist ale with a pleasant bitterness and a mild, dry finish.

A characteristically Trappist ale with a warm amber colour and a cream-coloured head. The aroma is associated with clover and nuts, balanced by the sweet aromas of vanilla, raisins and banana. La Trappe Quadrupel is the heaviest of all the La Trappe Trappist ales and it is also the source for the name of this style. A full, heart-warming and intense taste. Malty with sweet tones of dates and caramel. The aftertaste is smooth and slightly bitter.

A golden blonde Trappist ale with a white head. Fruity aromas of peach and apricot combined with a floral aroma. La Trappe Tripel is a classic Trappist ale with a powerful and full flavour. In addition, this ale has a candy-sweet and light malty character. The aftertaste is bitter and slightly dry.

Light-blonde, cloudy with a firm and long-lasting head. The aroma is slightly sour and refreshing due to the use of wheat malt combined with a floral and fruity (citrus, peach, apricot) hop aroma. The flavour is smooth, malty, lightly sour with a tingling sensation due to the carbonation. The aftertaste is bitter and dry. A consistently drinkable, refreshing thirst quencher.

NOTE: The ABV-value of this beer varies, in the United States 6.9% is used. The Orval’s brewery produces only one beer to sell, a beer with a high fermentation that continues in the bottle. It is 6.2% ABV. This beer is brewed exclusively from spring water, barley malt, hop cones, candy sugar, and yeast. The aroma and the fine taste are due more to the hop cones and the yeast than to the malt that is used. What’s special about Orval’s beer is that hops are added at two different stages of the production process. First, in the brewing room, a large quantity of very fine hops are added – this produces the famous bitter taste and is the reason why the beer keeps for a longer period of time. Later, in the storage cellars, hops are once again added. This is the so-called British “dry hopping,” which produces the delightful aroma that completely enraptures even the most carefully forewarned taster. In the tasting room, Orval’s beer and cheese make a really good pair: the unique shape of the bottle and the glass, the design of the label, the coasters and other publicity materials – it’s all a legacy from the early 1930’s.

Originally called "Spécial," Rochefort 8 dates to the mid-1950s. The name comes from the original gravity in "Belgian degrees." Deep brown color; the flavor is vigorous and complex, with firm body to support the strength. The aroma has elusive notes of fresh fruit, spice, leather, and figs. ABV 9.2 IBU 22

Zundert 10 Trappist is een quadrupel met een licht kruidige toets die onze bieren kenmerkt. Dit trappistenbier is diep roodbruin van kleur, met een mooie, licht beige, schuimkraag. De geur geeft hints van gedroogde zuidvruchten, zwoele kruiden, drop en een beetje chocolade. De smaak is vol en zacht, in balans gebracht door een mooie hopbitterheid. In de nasmaak keert de Zundertse kruidigheid subtiel terug.

Zundert 4 Refterbier is een licht bier, met maar 4% alcohol. Natuurlijk is het een echte Zundert Trappist, dus het kruidige element ontbreekt niet. Voor dit bier grijpen wij terug op het gebruik van rogge als brouwgraan. Rogge werd vroeger veel in de omgeving van de abdij geteeld, ook voor het brouwen van bier. Het zorgt voor een kruidige toets. Daarnaast is een karakteristiek kruid uit de omgeving toegevoegd, zoals bij al Zundert Trappistbieren. Hoewel het bier licht is, heeft het hierdoor wel degelijk karakter. De naam verwijst naar de eetzaal van een klooster, die ‘refter’ genoemd wordt.

Zundert Trappist is een kastanjekleurig bovengistend bier met nagisting op fles. Het bevat 8% alcohol. We hebben gekozen voor een bier dat we ‘een beetje weerbarstig’ noemen. Dat wil zeggen, Zundert Trappist is een bier dat je de tijd moet geven om daadwerkelijk te doorgronden. Ons trappistenbier heeft een veelbelovende geur met een zweem van kruiden en specerijen. In de aanzet is Zundert Trappist bloemig en iets zoet. Geef het bier wat tijd en het karakter evolueert van licht karamel naar een mooie en droge hopbitterheid. In de lange afdronk vloeien de bitters samen met een aangename kruidigheid op de achtergrond.

Corsendonk Agnus Tripel is a spicy top-fermented blond beer, also refermented in the bottle and matured into a lively sparkling beer with a spicy bouquet and hopped aftertaste.

Een bovengistend ongefilterde goudblonde 3-granen tripel met een verrassende smaak. De toevoeging van Tettnagerhop en kruiden zorgen voor een kruidige smaak met droge afdronk. Gebrouwen met traditionele lange lagering en kristalzuiver water uit eigen bron.

DAVO Roadtrip is een blonde en krachtige tripel. Het goudgele bier is zoet en verwarmend door het stevige alcoholpercentage. Het fruitige karakter maakt het bier zeer toegankelijk en gevaarlijk doordrinkbaar!

Straffe Hendrik is a Bitter Tripel Ale of 9% abv. The beer was originally from Bruges and brewed in Bruges by brewery De Halve Maan. In 1981, Henri Maes and his daughter Véronique followed the demand of the mayor and created a strong blond beer for the inauguration of the statue of Sint-Arnoldus, the saint of all beer-brewers. However, the beer became so popular, that the demand for the beer continued. It was given the name of Straffe Hendrik (Strong Hendrick), since it was a rich and strong beer. Today, Straffe Hendrik is the last authentic Tripel Ale of Bruges.

Tripel LeFort is a golden blonde beer of 8.8% ABV and sets itself apart through its crisp, fruity aroma and beautifully rounded full flavour. The top-fermenting yeast used for Tripel LeFort results in a beer with vanilla-clove aromas as well as a fruity taste of bananas and red apples. Pleasant hints of citrus, lime and roses make this into a balanced beer that is intriguingly complex at the same time.

Schlenkerla Smokebeer Wheat is an ale with light smoky aroma. As Bavarian wheat beers, it is being brewed with a mixture of both barley malt and wheat malt. The portion of barley malt is hereby a classic Schlenkerla smokemalt, while the wheat malt remains unsmoked. Served unfiltered with its natural haziness, Schlenkerla Wheat reaches its full aroma through bottle fermentation with fine top fermenting yeast.

Go on a discovery: "Meine Hopfenweisse" - the incomparable experience of indulgent drinking, that exceeds all expectations … hoppy, but flowery, bitter and full-bodied, and still with a sweet malty aroma - this is how multifaceted wheat beer can actually be. A real delight in the special Schneider way! And when it comes to spicy dishes or refined chocolates the "Hopfenweisse" unleashes no less than a pleasant tremor of the senses.

A full-bodied, Amsterdam wheat beer that is dangerously ‘moreish’. Slightly cloudy, it has a beautiful golden colour and a soft, foamy head. When we brew IJwit, we use wheat malt as well as barley malt, which is also how the beer gets its name. The wheat malt gives the beer a delightful, fresh flavour, and the addition of coriander and lemon during the brewing process produces a rich aroma of banana, citrus and spices. Topped off by a fine, slightly sweet aftertaste, IJwit is a delicious thirst-quencher.

bottling date: 10/12/2009 Blend of 1-, 2- and 3-year old lambik, all fermented and lagered in oak barrels and vessels. With Doesjel, the wild fermentation of the young lambik did not continue throughout the bottle conditioning as the yeast "dozed in" ("ingedoesjeld"). This beer has no head, just like lambik so please don't panic.

bottle date: 26/07/2023. For this Oude Kriek, we macerated sour cherries for a full year and a few days on three-, fourand five-year old lambik, before blending with some more three-year old lambik. As a result, the weighted average age of this blend clocks at more than 41 months. The final fruit intensity is 289 grams of sour cherries per litre of Kriek.

Rodenbach Alexander is a blend of 2/3rd aged Rodenbach (2 year matured beer from oak standing Foeders) and 1/3rd young ale, then macerated with sour cherries.

Raspberry cream smoothie sour

Duchesse de Bourgogne from Brouwerij Verhaeghe is the traditional Flemish red ale. This refreshing ale is matured in oak casks; smooth with a rich texture and interplay of passion fruit, and chocolate, and a long, dry and acidic finish. After the first and secondary fermentation, the beer goes for maturation into the oak barrels for 18 months. The final product is a blend of younger 8 months old beer with 18 months old beer. The average age of the Duchesse de Bourgogne before being bottled is 12 months.

Wheat Ale with raspberry Aged in wine barrels

Boon Geuze Mariage Parfait has an alcohol content of 8%. It consists of 95% mild lambic, aged at least three years and specially reserved for this purpose, and 5% young lambic. The latter provides the fermentable sugars and wild yeasts. After mixing in a vessel of 25,000 litres, the wort (unfermented mixture) is filtered and chilled. If we are bottling, we bring it back to fermentation temperature. The bottles are placed in a climate-controlled space for the secondary fermentation. This is followed by maturing at low temperature for at least 6 months. Want to know the bottling date? Simply subtract 20 years from the “best before” date! The soft, mildly sour berry taste, harmonises with the oak barrels’ aromas in which Geuze Mariage Parfait has ripen. The body speaks of vanilla followed by a bitter aftertaste of cloves that becomes increasingly intense. Sublime.

For this speciality, we use old and young lambic beer that has aged in our oak casks. When the lambic is 6 months old, we add 25% black cherries. This provokes the second fermentation. We then clarify, filter and bottle it. The cherries and young lambic create a red beer that is both natural and fresh, with an absolutely unforgettable sweet and sour taste. This is kriek as it should be, with nothing but real cherries and lambic. There is no place for artificial colourings or flavourings.

Formerly known as Liefmans Kriek and Cuvée - Brut. This classy beer represents the perfect marriage between the fresh accents and slightly acidic flavour of the black cherries. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a mixed fermentation beer, with every hectolitre containing up to 13 kilos of fruit! Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a perfect blend of Oud Bruin and Goudenband from different vintages, and can consist of between 15 and 20 different batches of beers. The beer is matured for 18 months, bringing out the very best of its intense flavour. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a deep reddish-brown colour, with a pale head and wood and almond notes. On the palette, you can clearly taste the slightly sweet, yet at the same time gently bitter fruit flavours. This is a beer that just oozes class…

Flowers in bloom, sun is out more than once a month, Spring is finally here, and we’re busting out another Catharina sour. We’ve had so many requests for another in the past few months, so we rushed out this slightly more cold-weather-oriented one. This softly sour Brazilian style sour is pumped full of fresh Blackberry puree, a zest of Yuzu and just a hint of raspberry for a fruit, full-bodied 7 citrus fruit explosion. Vibrant, tart and easy drinking, we love making these sours and we’re glad people are now asking when the next will be released.

Oslo meets Haarlem. For this summery banger, we teamed up with our friends from Sleeping Village. The result? A fruited sour that is fresh, tropical and surprisingly soft. Perfect for long evenings when sleeping is not an option. Sharp, juicy and super drinkable. Expect crisp acidity with a tropical blend of pineapple and lime , rounded out with a hint of vanilla for a soft twist. This blonde is bursting with fruit, with a light body and a thirst-quenching finish.

Oude Geuze Boon is a monument of taste with an alcohol content of 7%. It’s a magnificent blend of 90% mild 18 month-old lambic, 5% strong 3 year-old beer and 5% very young lambic, which provides fermentable sugars and wild yeasts. All our beers are aged in oak casks, mixed in a vessel of 25,000 litres and chilled. Before bottling, we bring the mix to fermentation temperature. The bottles are then placed in an air-conditioned room, which leads to a secondary fermentation in the bottle. This is when the lambic becomes gueuze. After several months of aging in the bottle, the gueuze develops its delicate flavour. Want to know the bottling date? Simply subtract 20 years from the “best before” date! Taste carefully and you will uncover a fruity grapefruit and ginger flavour with a hint of Muscat grapes. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by the wholehearted body and the sublime finish – an explosion of Germanic and Romance cultures.

RODENBACH is the unique & original “Flanders Red Ale”, recognised as a traditional local product. Mixed main fermentation and maturation in oak casks (“foeders”) give it the same sweet-sour flavour and complex fruitiness as wine. RODENBACH consists of 3/4 young beer and 1/4 beer matured two years in oak. It's is highly refreshing and appetising: the perfect apéritif or session ale! Since 1821.

This is an aged Belgian red ale, which is ‘ripened quietly in oak barrels for two years’, according to the label. It has an extremely pungent aroma of rich grapey fruit, with acidic notes, very much like a slightly sour red wine or possibly a gueuze. In the mouth it is slightly sweet, extremely acidic and fruity, with grapes and even cherries discernible, and very lively. Despite the sweetness it is not at all cloying, even thin, with little or no trace of malt. Finish is sharp and fruity.

Lambicus Faro is a historical Brussels beer. Candy sugar is delicately added to a traditional barrel-aged lambic, giving a sweeter note with apples aromas.

Originally called "Ouden Tripel", this ancient West Flanders Brown beer has found a new élan as a regional specialty under its current name: "VanderGhinste Roodbruin". The main ingredients of our Vanderghinste Oud Bruin are malted barley, wheat, hops, water, and caramelized malts. These are used to brew a top-fermented beer. Blending this beer with lambic beer aged in oak for 18 months results in this specific West Flanders Brown beer. Its typical flavour is characterized by a well-balanced, hardly noticeable sourness. This first flavour impression is soon followed by a second pleasant discovery: a slight bitterness followed by a hint of sweetness.

bottling date: 12/03/2024 For this small batch of Druif, we had the honour to work with the renowned Jean-Pierre Robinot. For this field blend, we macerated destemmed grapes for six months on jonge lambik in a wooden barrel. The grapes underwent a short cold maceration just before. We used both Pinot D’Aunis (85%) and Chenin Blanc (15%) grapes (because JP said so), both typical to the Loire region. Belgian-style imperial pale ale

Lupulus is a blonde ale with an alcohol proof of 8,5 %, refermented in champagne bottles and in casks. The choice not to filter the beer, as well as not to pasteurize it ensures its taste and aromatic quality. The use of hops in considerable quantities, gives this liquid gold a freshness and an incomparable bouquet. Store this beer, as it ought to be, next to your beloved Grand-Cru and serve at a temperature between 8 and 12°C (46,4 and 53,6°F). You'll be delighted !

Lentebier is double-hopped in the boiling vessel and has not been filtered. The brew gets a form of "late hopping" with hop flowers from the region of Aalst (East-Flanders).

Dark, heavy smoked beer For the creation of the Gulden Draak Smoked, we go back to the ancient tradition of malt drying: smoking malt. This resulted in a smoked touch of the malt which you afterwards also could find in the beer. This typical smoky taste was lost over the years because the malt drying techniques were made considerably more efficient. The use of smoked malt in combination with the specialty of Brewery Van Steenberge has a spectacular result: a heavy quality beer of high fermentation with a secondary fermentation in the bottle, baptized as Gulden Draak Smoked.
