Our golden-yellow, alcohol-free wheat beer tastes like a premium wheat beer: tangy, fresh and full-bodied, with hints of cloves and honey as well as a fine yeasty spirit. The unique wheat beer taste is achieved by a method developed in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich-Weihenstephan: the top fermentation is not interrupted and the beer has time to mature, only after the maturation the alcohol is carefully withdrawn. It is a first-class thirst quencher after sports or a good companion to light summer dishes, sweet and sour dishes, or fruit sorbets. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Deep blonde in colour, Barbãr’s creamy head gives off a powerful aroma, unobtrusively scented with honey and accompanied by a bouquet of floral, spicy and citrus notes. The use of soft wheat gives a rounded attack, without heaviness. The sugar provided by the honey during the wort boiling undergoes fermentation and is converted into alcohol. Consequently, this is a soft but not sweet beer, with a touch of acidity which gives it freshness. The finish is full of finesse and without a bitter aftertaste. An original and distinctive beer whose distant origins go back to the “cervoise” brewed by our ancestors who called it “Warrior’s rest”.

Strong, Blond, Belgian. 8.5% Vol. CORNET is a blond Belgian beer with a unique taste: powerful yet soft, thanks to the addition of oak wood chips during the brewing process.

The allusion to pink elephants and the choice of names is not due to chance. With a particular character, the unique taste results from triple fermentation and the use of three different yeast strains. Sweet, biscuit malt backbone, supported by pleasant warmth and spice, finishes well rounded, floral, and dry. Color and Sight: Pale blond, the fine and regular sparkle creates a nice, stable foam head. Scent: Slightly malty, heavy touch of alcohol, spicy. Taste: A good shot of alcohol ignites in the mouth, as it were, which really warms the tongue and palate. The taste is also characterized by its roundness. The finish is strong, long and dry bitter.

Duvel is a natural beer with a subtle bitterness, a refined flavour and a distinctive hop character. The unique brewing process, which takes about 90 days, guarantees a pure character, delicate effervescence and a pleasant sweet taste of alcohol. Apart from pure spring water, which is the main ingredient of beer, barley is the most important raw material. Barley must germinate for five days in the malt house, after which malt remains. The colour of the malt and as a consequence also of the beer is determined by the temperature. Duvel obtains its typical bitterness by adding various varieties of aromatic Slovenian and Czech hops. We use only exclusive hops that are renowned for their constant, outstanding quality. Duvel ferments for the first time in tanks at 20 to 26°C. The brewer uses his own culture for this. The original yeast strain, which Victor Moortgat himself selected in the 1920’s, originates from Scotland. After maturing in storage tanks in which the beer is cooled down to -2°C, the drink is ready for bottling. Thanks to the addition of extra sugars and yeast, the beer ferments again in the bottle. This occurs in warm cellars (24°C) and takes two weeks. Then the beer is moved to cold cellars, where it continues to mature and stabilise for a further six weeks. This extra long maturation period is unique and contributes to the refined flavour and pure taste of Duvel.

Belgische Blonde is in de afgelopen 10 jaar een van de meest gedronken bierstijlen in De Goudse Eend. De Boekweit geeft een eigen twist aan de Blond, passend bij het karakter van De Goudse Eend.

So nice, it has to be on the label three times! Is there yuzu fruit in there?? There sure is!! This cheeky yellow fellow is responsible for the citrussy twang and the tarty oomph in the beer. Thirst quenching, refreshing and demanding that you'll have a second one, or a third one. おいしい

Corsendonk Pater Dubbel is a soft and top-fermented dark beer, refermented and aged in bottle to a lively sparkling beer with rich foam. This beer has caramelized malt on the nose with hints of ripe fruit. Mild on the palate with wellbalanced bitterness, hints of fruit, toasted bread, liquorice, coffee and caramel.

Ingrediënten: Water, gerstemouten, hop, gist. Dit is dubbel. Poah, dat smaakt zeg. Licht zoet, om precies te zijn. Door de chocolademout krijgt het bier een roodbruine kleur. De lange subtiele afdronk geeft een lichte zoete smaak. Of hadden we dat al eerder gezegd? Dat klopt. Dit is dubbel (en dik verdiend!).

De Gouverneur Dubbel is een ongefilterd fluweelzacht en bitterzoet bier met karakter. Het gebruik van Tettnangerhop en gebrande karamelkleurige mout zorgt voor een diepe robijnrode kleur en unieke volle smaak. Gebrouwen met traditionele lange lagering, zorgvuldig geselecteerde natuurlijke ingrediënten en kristalzuiver water uit eigen bron.

This is an aggressive ale. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth. We would suggest that you stick to safer and more familiar territory–maybe something with a multi-million dollar ad campaign aimed at convincing you it’s made in a little brewery, or one that implies that their tasteless fizzy yellow beverage will give you more sex appeal. Perhaps you think multi-million dollar ad campaigns make things taste better. Perhaps you’re mouthing your words as you read this.

For our third collision we met up with our friends from SALT brewing from the UK. We've created a clear and dry West Coast DIPA, with piney and tropical flavours. Full bodied but still crisp and a bold bitterness. Better try this beer, before its gone.

No, you're not tripping. An American IPA, double dry-hopped during mid-and-late fermentation with 4 hops - including Citra Cryo - spin out for a cloudy, chunky, citrus mouthful of hop. Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor completes the taste pallet of our Carolus beers. “Hopsinjoor” derived from “Opsinjoor”, the typical character of Mechelen and also because of the use of 5 different kinds of hops. These hops are fractioned at a different time during the cooking process in order to conserve a maximum of aroma. Concerning the taste, the Ale has a gentle taste with a slightly bitter finish. Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor was launched in 2008 on the Zythos Beer Festival and hit the mark: the visitors elected it as best beer, bringing Het Anker “The Consumer’s trophy Zythos Beer Festival 2008”. The beer is bottled unfiltered in order to preserve the bitterness of the hop as much as possible.

NELSON SAUVIN & RIWAKA

Available in bottles at 5.3% ABV and cans at 5% ABV. Heftily hopped & aroma packed, Hobgoblin IPA stays true to its ancestral traditions. Brewed with Fuggles, Goldings & Styrian hops & then amped up by the addition of some mighty American hops. This collision of Old & New World hops provides an explosion of tropical aroma & a juicy bitterness. Born out of character.

A strong and gluten-free IPA. This variant has been made with mosaic hops and has a pronounced mix of piney, tropical and citrussy hoppy aroma's.

Jopen Northsea IPA is an IPA (India Pale Ale) or, in old Dutch, a ‘Duraebel Scheepsbier’. These beers were extra strongly brewed and extra hopped so that they could be taken along on the long sea voyages to the Dutch East Indies (current-day Indonesia). Nowadays this type of beer is making a comeback because American brewers have breathed new life into this brewing style. This hoppy amber beer is named after the lake between the towns of Spaarndam and Haarlem, the Mooie Nel (literally: Beautiful Nel). The beer has received an extra hop addition to the tank after fermentation to give it a clear hop character. Silver medal winner Brussels beer Challenge 2014.

A juicy, sweet IPA with a vibrant tropical fruit aroma and peachy stone fruit flavour. Brewed using some our favourite hops including Azaca and Strata, making this a refreshing fruit forward IPA perfect for lazy days, BBQs and great company.

Contemporary style IPA with an Irish twist, combining the balance of European IPAs with the generous dry hopping of APAs, this beer is everything an IPA should be and more. Zesty and refreshingly bitter the finish is long. With a copper tone body and topped with a lightly carbonated head, the dry hopping brings an intense aroma and lasting array of fruit and floral notes.

‘PLATLAND’ is a ‘musicollab’ by Brouwerij Poesiat & Kater and ELMER. They made the music, we made the beer! ‘PLATLAND’ is a New England Double IPA with a shot of caffeine.

Starting the new year with an absolute sessionable belter. This is a hazy little beast stuffed full of the finest New Zealand hops. First up is Peacharine, a new variety developed by Freestyle Hops. As the name suggests it is bursting with notes of peach and nectarine along with tropical fruit and slight citrus around the edge. It is more than ably supported by the ever wonderful and ever lime accented Motueka and grapefruity and resinous Waimea. New Zealand hops are going through a moment and this beer is a testament to the great work that the growers are doing down there.

The same IPA recipe brewed exactly at the same time but in two different hemispheres...! Yup, that's right, Elliot is night-shifting at the idyllic Altitude Brewery just next door to Queenstown in New Zealand—big and bold hazy number with oodles of Nelson and Nectaron hops. Over the years, we've cultivated strong and meaningful relationships with many talented brewers and hop farmers in New Zealand. This new Travellers Series release gives us the perfect opportunity to shine a light on a very special country, its hops, culture and amazing people.

This one is a hybrid approach to American Pale Ale. It has the classic hallmarks such as dryness, a decent bitter finish and citrus and pine notes. But where it differs is the body has a silkiness due to a modest percentage of flaked oats in the grist. This has the effect of really carrying the dank citrus and pine resin hop character of Mosaic, Simcoe and Strata all the way through each sip.

Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka. Masses of our three favourite New Zealand hops have been squashed into this Antipodean India Pale ale. Expect fruits galore ranging from fresh limes and zingy grapefruit through to a medley of grapes and gooseberries!⁣

A bold blend of dark caramel, dried red fruits, molasses, and rye bread. This special Irish-Dutch collaboration draws on De Molen’s expertise in crafting robust Belgian and Dutch styles, resulting in a stronger and more complex take on O'Hara's classic Irish Red. To celebrate our 20th anniversary, in collaboration with O'Hara's, we’ve infused this brew with unique Irish botanicals—juniper and bog myrtle—drawing inspiration from Irish Poitín and Dutch GIN. This special addition delivers a subtle piney finish with complex herbal notes.

Gouden Carolus Ambrio is aromatically brewed according to the ancient recipe of the Mechelschen Bruynen. Ambrio is an 'amber' ale brewed with 'brio'. This white beer of high fermentation finds its origin in the traditional beer of the city of Mechelen. As each city had its own typical beer, the Mechelenians drunk their amber beer: "Mechelschen Bruynen" for hundreds of years. Our brewery is the only brewery that still brews this type of beer. According to the tradition the basic recipe of this beer dates from 1421 and is therefore the oldest beer from the brewery. The current version is slightly heavier than the original and finer hopped. The balance between the different malts, the fine hops and typical aromas with herbs ensure that this beer combines the whole-hearted nature of brown beers with the freshness of blonde beers. This flavored and spicy light brown tasting beer should be served fairly fresh. Refermentation in the bottle.

A Northern German (Friesian) Pilsener that is characteristic of the style. It is a little more hoppy than Czech pilseners giving it a more bitter ("herb" in German) flavour.

After hours of cutting through 1000kg of pineapple (and a lot of sticky hands), we ended up with a refreshingly tangy, slightly spicy tepache. What’s that, you ask? It’s a classic Mexican drink; fermented pineapple with a light, tropical vibe. Later on we blended it with a German-style kellerbier. The result? A refreshing, easy-drinking brew with just the right balance of sweetness, spice, and crispness. It’s something different, interesting but thirst-quenching! Cheers!

The flagship of the O’Hara’s brand, this uniquely Irish stout brings one back to how Irish stouts used to taste. First brewed in 1999, it has since been awarded prestigious honours for its quality and authenticity. O’Hara’s Irish Stout has a robust roast flavour complemented by a full-bodied and smooth mouth feel. The generous addition of Fuggle hops lends a tart bitterness to the dry espresso-like finish. This sessionable stout beer is filled with rich complex coffee aromas mingled with light liquorice notes. The combination of traditional stout hops with an extra pinch of roast barley allows us to stay true to Irish tradition, recreating a taste so often yearned for by stout drinkers.

The Pim’s & Port is the port barrel aged version of our special Pim’s & Sinaas, an Imperial Stout with cocoa and orange, from 2022. The orange and cocoa immediately hit you after opening the bottle. The taste is lightly roasted, with hints of caramel, orange and chocolate. The aftertaste is full, warming and with a clear soft port finish.

Poesiat & Kater’s Van Vollenhoven Extra Stout is based on a recipe from the original Van Vollenhoven brewery that existed in Amsterdam during the 18th century. It has a rich full malt body with roasted flavor notes. This was the top selling beer in the Netherlands in the second half of the 19th century and was shipped all over the world. Thanks to the addition of oats, this beer boasts a full body and a delightfully creamy finish. Vidar, in Norse mythology, is the god of vengeance and silence, perfectly complementing the deep and powerful character of this beer.

"Why ATV?', one might ask. Well, that's because some ATV's are Quads, and that's exactly what you're drinking now. Not an ATV, but a quadrupel. Not all ATV's are quads, but this ATV certainly is. You still get it? We added some chocolate to this one as well, to enrich it in flavor and depth. So a not so classical Belgian Quadrupel, yet very interesting. O, and if you write "Quadruple", you're out of the game.

Gouden Carolus Cuvée van de Keizer Imperial Dark was enriched by an infusion of Gouden Carolus Single Malt whisky. The result is a unique beer: powerful and full-bodied, with subtle touches of vanilla, oak and chocolate. An imperial brew to cherish and enjoy in moderation.

Jona & Gold is a whisky barrel-aged Barley Wine with rich aromas of vanilla, fresh apple and a hint of red fruit. The beer offers a warming, full-bodied character with a perfect balance between fruity sweetness and woody whisky tones. Finished with a powerful, long-lasting whisky finish.

The result of adding American hops to a quadrupel, 10% Jopen Doubting Thomas (aka Ongelovige Thomas) is our interpretation of a quadrupel. A distinct beer with rich malt as the main flavour. The American hops gives it a fruity character. This beer is named after the apostle Thomas, who would not believe that Jesus had risen from the dead. Thomas has his name-day at the start of winter on 21 December. This reddish-brown beer is a genuine winter warmer. Surprisingly rich in flavour and ideal for sipping beside the fireplace. Believe it or not, this is a heavyweight.

Ródel & Jödel IJsbeer is een Quadragonupel, oftewel een quadrupel met dragon. Een fluweelzacht donker bier met een verrassend frisse dragon- toets. Ook deze IJsbeer heeft soort van een waarschuwing nodig! Geniet van je Rödel & Jödel IJsbeer maar pas op bij het Rödelen want vlieg je uit de bocht dan wordt het Jödelen.

Tesselaar Dukdalf is een stoer krachtig bier van 10% vol. Alc. Een echte Quadrupel! De rijke donkerkopere kleur ontstaat door een variatie aan geroosterde gerst en mout soorten. Saisons are all about the yeast. It’s the specific strains and relatively long fermentation that create the complex spicy, fruity esters and dryness. We used to two classic strains, a “Belgian” and a “French” one to create that classic Saison experience. We are quite satisfied with it, as it has turned into a luxurious and complex beer. We thought it suitable to give it a fancy french name. We proudly present: Les Perles Du Homard.

Farmhouse ale brewed with Buckwheat and spiced with Seeds of paradise and Saaz hops.

Deze barrel aged versie van de Kaapse Auguste heeft op rode wijnvaten gelegen. Het basisbier is gebrouwen met heel veel perzik erin en is vernoemd naar de chef Auguste Escoffier. Hij was de geestelijk vader van ondermeer de Pêche Melba. Dat is dus de link met de perzik saison!

Saison Dupont is a world classic beer and the yardstick for one of Belgium’s most important beer styles. It is the most admired AND imitated Saison in the world. A strong, vital yeast is key to full attenuation and thus to the style. Saison Dupont is straw colored with a dense creamy head. The nose is alive, like fresh raised bread, estery with citrus and spice notes. Full-bodied and malty, it sparkles on the palate and finishes with a zesty hop and citrus attack. Incredibly compatible with food!

To drink at cellar temperature (12°C) or lightly refrigerated, as an aperitif or with dishes such as mussels, eels in a green herb sauce, asparagus, steamed dishes, grills, etc.

Golden yellow Trappist ale with a white head and a rich flavour. The fruity and refreshing aromas go well with the sweet smell of malt and aromas reminiscent of spices. The result is an agreeable and tingling ale with a lightly sweet, smoothly bitter and malty taste. The aftertaste is characterised by a combination of sweetness and smooth bitterness.

Amber-coloured Trappist ale with a broken white head. A lovely combination of herbal, floral and fruity aromas. La Trappe Isid’or was first brewed in 2009 on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of The Koningshoeven Brewery. The harmonious taste starts off fruity and shifts to malty caramel. A perfectly balanced ale. The ale is named after Brother Isidorus, the abbey's first brewer. The aftertaste is pleasantly bitter.

A light-blond, organic, top-fermented Trappist ale with a sturdy collar. The aroma is characterised by the refreshing and fruity aromas of the yeast, combined with the flowery scent of citrus caused by the hops. Only organic ingredients were used when brewing this Skal-certified ale. The result is an accessible, refreshing and smooth Trappist ale with a pleasant bitterness and a mild, dry finish.

A characteristically Trappist ale with a warm amber colour and a cream-coloured head. The aroma is associated with clover and nuts, balanced by the sweet aromas of vanilla, raisins and banana. La Trappe Quadrupel is the heaviest of all the La Trappe Trappist ales and it is also the source for the name of this style. A full, heart-warming and intense taste. Malty with sweet tones of dates and caramel. The aftertaste is smooth and slightly bitter.

A golden blonde Trappist ale with a white head. Fruity aromas of peach and apricot combined with a floral aroma. La Trappe Tripel is a classic Trappist ale with a powerful and full flavour. In addition, this ale has a candy-sweet and light malty character. The aftertaste is bitter and slightly dry.

NOTE: The ABV-value of this beer varies, in the United States 6.9% is used. The Orval’s brewery produces only one beer to sell, a beer with a high fermentation that continues in the bottle. It is 6.2% ABV. This beer is brewed exclusively from spring water, barley malt, hop cones, candy sugar, and yeast. The aroma and the fine taste are due more to the hop cones and the yeast than to the malt that is used. What’s special about Orval’s beer is that hops are added at two different stages of the production process. First, in the brewing room, a large quantity of very fine hops are added – this produces the famous bitter taste and is the reason why the beer keeps for a longer period of time. Later, in the storage cellars, hops are once again added. This is the so-called British “dry hopping,” which produces the delightful aroma that completely enraptures even the most carefully forewarned taster. In the tasting room, Orval’s beer and cheese make a really good pair: the unique shape of the bottle and the glass, the design of the label, the coasters and other publicity materials – it’s all a legacy from the early 1930’s.

Originally called "Spécial," Rochefort 8 dates to the mid-1950s. The name comes from the original gravity in "Belgian degrees." Deep brown color; the flavor is vigorous and complex, with firm body to support the strength. The aroma has elusive notes of fresh fruit, spice, leather, and figs. ABV 9.2 IBU 22

Trappist beers tend to be named after the place in which the monastery is situated. We’ve called ours ‘Tynt Meadow’, to honour the link with the plot of land on which monastic life was refounded here in the Midlands almost two centuries ago. Being part of the great Trappist tradition, we’ve chosen to produce a strong dark ale, but one with a clearly English character. Tynt Meadow is mahogany-coloured, with a subtle, warm red hue, and a lasting beige head. Its aroma carries hints of dark chocolate, liquorice, and rich fruit flavours. The beer is full-bodied, gently balancing the taste of dark chocolate, pepper, and fig. It leaves a warm and dry finish on the palate.

Zundert 10 Trappist is een quadrupel met een licht kruidige toets die onze bieren kenmerkt. Dit trappistenbier is diep roodbruin van kleur, met een mooie, licht beige, schuimkraag. De geur geeft hints van gedroogde zuidvruchten, zwoele kruiden, drop en een beetje chocolade. De smaak is vol en zacht, in balans gebracht door een mooie hopbitterheid. In de nasmaak keert de Zundertse kruidigheid subtiel terug.

Zundert Trappist is een kastanjekleurig bovengistend bier met nagisting op fles. Het bevat 8% alcohol. We hebben gekozen voor een bier dat we ‘een beetje weerbarstig’ noemen. Dat wil zeggen, Zundert Trappist is een bier dat je de tijd moet geven om daadwerkelijk te doorgronden. Ons trappistenbier heeft een veelbelovende geur met een zweem van kruiden en specerijen. In de aanzet is Zundert Trappist bloemig en iets zoet. Geef het bier wat tijd en het karakter evolueert van licht karamel naar een mooie en droge hopbitterheid. In de lange afdronk vloeien de bitters samen met een aangename kruidigheid op de achtergrond.

Corsendonk Agnus Tripel is a spicy top-fermented blond beer, also refermented in the bottle and matured into a lively sparkling beer with a spicy bouquet and hopped aftertaste.

Een bovengistend ongefilterde goudblonde 3-granen tripel met een verrassende smaak. De toevoeging van Tettnagerhop en kruiden zorgen voor een kruidige smaak met droge afdronk. Gebrouwen met traditionele lange lagering en kristalzuiver water uit eigen bron.

DAVO Roadtrip is een blonde en krachtige tripel. Het goudgele bier is zoet en verwarmend door het stevige alcoholpercentage. Het fruitige karakter maakt het bier zeer toegankelijk en gevaarlijk doordrinkbaar!

Bruuzer is het Tessels dialect voor Wildebras. Uit de koperen ketels van de enige brouwfamilie die Texel rijk is komt een onstuimig en krachtig bier van hoge gisting de “Tesselaar Bruuzer” Een Tripel van 9% alcohol met een blonde gloed van de Dageraad, een hopbyte van een selectie prachtige hopbloemen geven dit zware bier van hoge gisting een prachtige hopbitter in de afdronk met een zoete zweem van tropisch fruit. De brouwersfamilie vergadert iedere dag aan de eettafel en besloot einde van het jaar 2020 nog een krachtig en onstuimig bier van hoge gisting te brouwen. Een type Tripel welke goed bij de maaltijd past maar ook een smaakvolle afronding is van de dag.

Tripel LeFort is a golden blonde beer of 8.8% ABV and sets itself apart through its crisp, fruity aroma and beautifully rounded full flavour. The top-fermenting yeast used for Tripel LeFort results in a beer with vanilla-clove aromas as well as a fruity taste of bananas and red apples. Pleasant hints of citrus, lime and roses make this into a balanced beer that is intriguingly complex at the same time.

Go on a discovery: "Meine Hopfenweisse" - the incomparable experience of indulgent drinking, that exceeds all expectations … hoppy, but flowery, bitter and full-bodied, and still with a sweet malty aroma - this is how multifaceted wheat beer can actually be. A real delight in the special Schneider way! And when it comes to spicy dishes or refined chocolates the "Hopfenweisse" unleashes no less than a pleasant tremor of the senses.

Olá!Together with our Portuguese friends from Dois Corvos we've came up with something special, a fusion of two classic styles: a Weizen and a Tripel. The result? A perfectly blanced beer in which the fruity ester and spicy undertones, found in both beers, are combined. But there’s a secret…There’s a hint of saffron In the End that adds a Portuguese character to the beer.

A full-bodied, Amsterdam wheat beer that is dangerously ‘moreish’. Slightly cloudy, it has a beautiful golden colour and a soft, foamy head. When we brew IJwit, we use wheat malt as well as barley malt, which is also how the beer gets its name. The wheat malt gives the beer a delightful, fresh flavour, and the addition of coriander and lemon during the brewing process produces a rich aroma of banana, citrus and spices. Topped off by a fine, slightly sweet aftertaste, IJwit is a delicious thirst-quencher.

Dit unieke viergranen witbier ontleent zijn naam aan de Korenwolf. Een hamster die alleen nog voorkomt in ons eigen Zuid-Limburg. De milde tonen van jonge, witte bloesem in een geraffineerde combinatie met koriander en sinaasappelschil, zorgen voor een prikkelende smaakbeleving. De perfecte balans tussen fris, zoet en zuur. Geniet van dit heerlijke zomerse bier. Gulpener Korenwolf is goed te combineren met schaal- en schelpdieren, witvis en lichte kip- en kalfsgerechten met een aangenaam zurige frisheid.

Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-pored white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour. It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. To be enjoyed at any time (always a pleasure / enjoyment), goes excellently with fish and seafood, with spicy cheese and especially with the traditional Bavarian veal sausage. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Our dark wheat beer is impressive with its creamy white foam. A fruity-fresh sweetness and hints of mature bananas harmonise with delicious flavours of roasted malt, sparkling and full-bodied with a light caramel taste on the first sip. An excellent accompaniment from hearty meals and game to chocolate and nut desserts. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

bottle date: 13/06/2023 For this Kweepeer, we macerated quinces for over six months on both two- and three-year-old lambik. We then blended with some very young lambik for continued bottle fermentation. Lambikken originate from five different barrels and seven different brews, brewed by both Lindemans (30%) and 3 Fonteinen. Of the cereals used in the 3 Fonteinen brews, a quarter was sourced from our own Pajottenland cereal collective. The weighted average age of the blend upon bottling was more than 40 months.

Rodenbach Alexander is a blend of 2/3rd aged Rodenbach (2 year matured beer from oak standing Foeders) and 1/3rd young ale, then macerated with sour cherries.

En boca combina la acidez y la frescura, seguido de la delicada dulzura de la pesca que se equilibra con los matices generados por copos de trigo y la levadura Lactobacillus, imprescindible para obtener el carácter neto de ácido láctico tan característico en este estilo de origen berlinés. ENG A Berliner Weisse pale yellowish with fine bubbles. In aroma the fruity notes of the peach stand out and generates a very exotic and captivating fragrance. In mouth it combines acidity and freshness, followed by the delicate sweetness of the peach that is balanced with the nuances generated by the wheat flakes and yeast Lactobacillus, essential to obtain the clean character of lactic acid so characteristic in this Berlin style. BA Flanders Red with Frederiksdal Cherries and Forest Honey. Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Black Iris, we brewed this strong Flanders Red style beer with 70% provision strength ‘young’ stock beer aged 4 months, blended with around 30% ‘mature’ stock beer aged in third fill whisky casks for one year. The combination of old and young beers has produced a complex sweet and sour flavour profile with a subtle oak character. This blend was racked onto forest honey, and second use ‘Stevnsbær’ sour cherries, sourced from the orchards on the Frederiksdal estate which had previously been used to macerated in our Holy Mountain kriek style sour.

Duchesse de Bourgogne from Brouwerij Verhaeghe is the traditional Flemish red ale. This refreshing ale is matured in oak casks; smooth with a rich texture and interplay of passion fruit, and chocolate, and a long, dry and acidic finish. After the first and secondary fermentation, the beer goes for maturation into the oak barrels for 18 months. The final product is a blend of younger 8 months old beer with 18 months old beer. The average age of the Duchesse de Bourgogne before being bottled is 12 months.

For this speciality, we use old and young lambic beer that has aged in our oak casks. When the lambic is 6 months old, we add 25% black cherries. This provokes the second fermentation. We then clarify, filter and bottle it. The cherries and young lambic create a red beer that is both natural and fresh, with an absolutely unforgettable sweet and sour taste. This is kriek as it should be, with nothing but real cherries and lambic. There is no place for artificial colourings or flavourings.

Formerly known as Liefmans Kriek and Cuvée - Brut. This classy beer represents the perfect marriage between the fresh accents and slightly acidic flavour of the black cherries. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a mixed fermentation beer, with every hectolitre containing up to 13 kilos of fruit! Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a perfect blend of Oud Bruin and Goudenband from different vintages, and can consist of between 15 and 20 different batches of beers. The beer is matured for 18 months, bringing out the very best of its intense flavour. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a deep reddish-brown colour, with a pale head and wood and almond notes. On the palette, you can clearly taste the slightly sweet, yet at the same time gently bitter fruit flavours. This is a beer that just oozes class…

Again, the basic old and young lambic are matured in oak casks. But here we add to one year-old lambic about 400 grams of real cherries per litre. This creates a second fermentation in the casks. Oude Kriek Boon then undergoes a further fermentation in the bottle and has an alcohol volume of 6.5%. After several months, the flavour has matured to the desired taste. Oude Kriek Boon is a test of your patience. It should lie about 2 years in the bottle. At first, it tastes of fruit, especially sour cherries. Oude Kriek Boon eventually evolves into a deep taste reminiscent of Port or Madeira wine. This is kriek at its best.

RODENBACH is the unique & original “Flanders Red Ale”, recognised as a traditional local product. Mixed main fermentation and maturation in oak casks (“foeders”) give it the same sweet-sour flavour and complex fruitiness as wine. RODENBACH consists of 3/4 young beer and 1/4 beer matured two years in oak. It's is highly refreshing and appetising: the perfect apéritif or session ale! Since 1821.

This is an aged Belgian red ale, which is ‘ripened quietly in oak barrels for two years’, according to the label. It has an extremely pungent aroma of rich grapey fruit, with acidic notes, very much like a slightly sour red wine or possibly a gueuze. In the mouth it is slightly sweet, extremely acidic and fruity, with grapes and even cherries discernible, and very lively. Despite the sweetness it is not at all cloying, even thin, with little or no trace of malt. Finish is sharp and fruity.

Lambicus Faro is a historical Brussels beer. Candy sugar is delicately added to a traditional barrel-aged lambic, giving a sweeter note with apples aromas.

Originally called "Ouden Tripel", this ancient West Flanders Brown beer has found a new élan as a regional specialty under its current name: "VanderGhinste Roodbruin". The main ingredients of our Vanderghinste Oud Bruin are malted barley, wheat, hops, water, and caramelized malts. These are used to brew a top-fermented beer. Blending this beer with lambic beer aged in oak for 18 months results in this specific West Flanders Brown beer. Its typical flavour is characterized by a well-balanced, hardly noticeable sourness. This first flavour impression is soon followed by a second pleasant discovery: a slight bitterness followed by a hint of sweetness.

10 years of Black Label!

Omdat het precies 25 jaar geleden is dat onder impuls van Marc Gallant, de laatste abt van De Achelse Kluis (1995-2006), werd besloten om de abdijbrouwerij nieuw leven in te blazen, komt er in een beperkte oplage een feestelijk jubileumbier op de markt: 'Achel Gallant - Jubileum', een blond speciaalbier met 9,5% alcoholvolume en afgesloten met een speciale kurk. Dit bier wordt gebrouwen met drie natuurlijke granen - gerst, tarwe en haver - en verrijkt met paarse heidebloemen, die welig bloeien in het natuurgrenspark De Groote Heide, waarvan De Achelse Kluis de toegangspoort vormt. Dit resulteert in een volmondige en eigenzinnige smaak met een zachte bittere afdronk.

Margaretha, de 10de smaakexpressie onder dit label, is een rood bier van 8,5% vol. waarvan de essentie draait om het delicate evenwicht tussen zuur en zoet. Door het samenvoegen van bruin en Vlaams roodbruin bier, creëren we een unieke smaakcombinatie waarin donkere chocolade en rijp fruit samengaan met een subtiel zure afdronk. Na maanden lange lagering op krieken bereiken we extra smaakdiepte. Met deze jubileumuitgave vieren we niet alleen een mijlpaal, maar brengen we ook kleur en smaak samen in een meesterlijke harmonie.

Our take on a classic style of beer. A blend of fresh and aged Flemish brown Ale. 60% of the blend was aged for over 1,5 years in a red wine foudre and after that the beer was aged for another year in bordeaux wine barriques. We also blended in a few bourbon barrel aged brown ale to give the blend a hint of American oak.

The aromas of sweet caramel, roasted malt, and delicate hints of peat are perfectly complemented by spicy and hoppy undertones. The full-bodied, bittersweet flavour with hints of roasted malt creates a unique and indulgent experience. This Dubbel pays tribute to the three fundamental rules of authentic Trappist brewing, the foundation and cornerstone of this exceptional beer. A true pleasure for any beer enthusiast!

Bamberg’s speciality, a dark, bottom fermented smoked beer, brewed with Original Schlenkerla Smokemalt from the Schlenkerla maltings and tapped according to old tradition directly from the gravity-fed oakwood cask in the 14th century brewery tavern.

Er was eens… Ah Muzen Cab De maya vereerde Ah Muzen Cab als de god van honing en bijen en brachten voedsel en drankoffers. Deze braggot is een passend offer aan deze god. Bacchus Raspberry Beer is brewed on a Bacchus Flemish Old Brown base. This raspberry beer surprises with a slight touch of caramel from the roasted malt. Bacchus Raspberry Beer offers a beautiful balance between the aromas of sweet raspberries and the sweet and sour of the base bier.

Bacchus Cherry Beer is brewed using Bacchus Flemish Old Brown as a base. This cherry beer surprises with a slight touch of caramel from the roasted malt. Bacchus Cherry Beer offers a beautiful balance between the aromas of ripe cherries and the sweet and sour of the base beer.

The appearance of this exceptional beer is matched only by its taste! To make our Framboise, we add raspberry juice to our lambic. That gives it a delicate fruity aroma and a beautiful dark pink colour, just like the dress I wore to our cousin Willy's wedding. (But that's of no interest to you since you undoubtedly don't know Willy). Framboise is served as an aperitif, but I also use it in cooking. And when I don't finish the bottle in my preparations, I finish it in my glass.

Jopen Koyt is a gruitbeer (herb beer) that is brewed according to the bierkeur (city recipe) from 1407. The beer is brewed with malted barley, malted wheat and oats and has a malty taste with a smooth herbal finish. The aroma has a hint of herbs and spices mixed with dark malt. Jopen Koyt is the only gruitbeer from the Netherlands. Gold medal winner at the European Beerstar competition in 2009 and a silver medal at the European Beerstar Competition in 2011.
