The unique wheat beer taste is achieved by a method developed in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich-Weihenstephan: the top fermentation is not interrupted and the beer has time to mature, only after the maturation the alcohol is carefully withdrawn. The allusion to pink elephants and the choice of names is not due to chance. With a particular character, the unique taste results from triple fermentation and the use of three different yeast strains. Sweet, biscuit malt backbone, supported by pleasant warmth and spice, finishes well rounded, floral, and dry. Color and Sight: Pale blond, the fine and regular sparkle creates a nice, stable foam head. Scent: Slightly malty, heavy touch of alcohol, spicy. Taste: A good shot of alcohol ignites in the mouth, as it were, which really warms the tongue and palate. The taste is also characterized by its roundness. The finish is strong, long and dry bitter.

Duvel is a natural beer with a subtle bitterness, a refined flavour and a distinctive hop character. The unique brewing process, which takes about 90 days, guarantees a pure character, delicate effervescence and a pleasant sweet taste of alcohol. Apart from pure spring water, which is the main ingredient of beer, barley is the most important raw material. Barley must germinate for five days in the malt house, after which malt remains. The colour of the malt and as a consequence also of the beer is determined by the temperature. Duvel obtains its typical bitterness by adding various varieties of aromatic Slovenian and Czech hops. We use only exclusive hops that are renowned for their constant, outstanding quality. Duvel ferments for the first time in tanks at 20 to 26°C. The brewer uses his own culture for this. The original yeast strain, which Victor Moortgat himself selected in the 1920’s, originates from Scotland. After maturing in storage tanks in which the beer is cooled down to -2°C, the drink is ready for bottling. Thanks to the addition of extra sugars and yeast, the beer ferments again in the bottle. This occurs in warm cellars (24°C) and takes two weeks. Then the beer is moved to cold cellars, where it continues to mature and stabilise for a further six weeks. This extra long maturation period is unique and contributes to the refined flavour and pure taste of Duvel.

De karakteristieke Duvel-hoppen Saaz-Saaz en Styrian Golding werden iets anders gebalanceerd, en dat maakt hem duidelijk fruitiger en zachter, en ook minder bitter. Corsendonk Pater Dubbel is a soft and top-fermented dark beer, refermented and aged in bottle to a lively sparkling beer with rich foam. This beer has caramelized malt on the nose with hints of ripe fruit. Mild on the palate with wellbalanced bitterness, hints of fruit, toasted bread, liquorice, coffee and caramel.

De Gouverneur Dubbel is een ongefilterd fluweelzacht en bitterzoet bier met karakter. LeFort is a complex, dark beer of 10° with a sweet and fruity touch. The pale and roasted, dark barley malts give the beer a perfect balance. The beer is lightly flavored with chocolate and caramel and the high fermentation gives a slight fruitiness. This results in a dark beer with a completely unique taste.

Mosaic in the whirlpool and then dry hopped intensely with Mosaic. In this new batch we replaced a part of Mosaic T-90 pellets with Mosaic Cyro Hops for more pure Mosaic aroma.

Barrel aged Belle Fleur IPA (13 Months)

Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor completes the taste pallet of our Carolus beers. “Hopsinjoor” derived from “Opsinjoor”, the typical character of Mechelen and also because of the use of 5 different kinds of hops. These hops are fractioned at a different time during the cooking process in order to conserve a maximum of aroma. Concerning the taste, the Ale has a gentle taste with a slightly bitter finish. Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor was launched in 2008 on the Zythos Beer Festival and hit the mark: the visitors elected it as best beer, bringing Het Anker “The Consumer’s trophy Zythos Beer Festival 2008”. The beer is bottled unfiltered in order to preserve the bitterness of the hop as much as possible.

A strong and gluten-free IPA. This variant has been made with mosaic hops and has a pronounced mix of piney, tropical and citrussy hoppy aroma's.

Jopen Northsea IPA is an IPA (India Pale Ale) or, in old Dutch, a ‘Duraebel Scheepsbier’. These beers were extra strongly brewed and extra hopped so that they could be taken along on the long sea voyages to the Dutch East Indies (current-day Indonesia). Nowadays this type of beer is making a comeback because American brewers have breathed new life into this brewing style. This hoppy amber beer is named after the lake between the towns of Spaarndam and Haarlem, the Mooie Nel (literally: Beautiful Nel). The beer has received an extra hop addition to the tank after fermentation to give it a clear hop character. Silver medal winner Brussels beer Challenge 2014.

Gouden Carolus Ambrio is aromatically brewed according to the ancient recipe of the Mechelschen Bruynen. Ambrio is an 'amber' ale brewed with 'brio'. This white beer of high fermentation finds its origin in the traditional beer of the city of Mechelen. As each city had its own typical beer, the Mechelenians drunk their amber beer: "Mechelschen Bruynen" for hundreds of years. Our brewery is the only brewery that still brews this type of beer. According to the tradition the basic recipe of this beer dates from 1421 and is therefore the oldest beer from the brewery. The current version is slightly heavier than the original and finer hopped. The balance between the different malts, the fine hops and typical aromas with herbs ensure that this beer combines the whole-hearted nature of brown beers with the freshness of blonde beers. This flavored and spicy light brown tasting beer should be served fairly fresh. Refermentation in the bottle.

A Northern German (Friesian) Pilsener that is characteristic of the style. It is a little more hoppy than Czech pilseners giving it a more bitter ("herb" in German) flavour.

After hours of cutting through 1000kg of pineapple (and a lot of sticky hands), we ended up with a refreshingly tangy, slightly spicy tepache. What’s that, you ask? The flagship of the O’Hara’s brand, this uniquely Irish stout brings one back to how Irish stouts used to taste. First brewed in 1999, it has since been awarded prestigious honours for its quality and authenticity. O’Hara’s Irish Stout has a robust roast flavour complemented by a full-bodied and smooth mouth feel. The generous addition of Fuggle hops lends a tart bitterness to the dry espresso-like finish. This sessionable stout beer is filled with rich complex coffee aromas mingled with light liquorice notes. The combination of traditional stout hops with an extra pinch of roast barley allows us to stay true to Irish tradition, recreating a taste so often yearned for by stout drinkers.

The barrel aging of this mild Peated Porter could not have been better. When pouring, the aromas such as cocoa, vanilla and dark red fruit come towards you. At the first sip, the whisky barrel with the mild peat character comes more to the fore, after which the honey, cocoa and red fruit flavors come more to the fore in the aftertaste, which together gives this a cherry bonbon experience.

The Pim’s & Port is the port barrel aged version of our special Pim’s & Sinaas, an Imperial Stout with cocoa and orange, from 2022. The orange and cocoa immediately hit you after opening the bottle. The taste is lightly roasted, with hints of caramel, orange and chocolate. The aftertaste is full, warming and with a clear soft port finish.

Slice Me Nice! // collab w/ @wittorferbrauerei Imperial Stout – 14,5% Wittorfer’s Henning is a gem, and he’s been there for us from the very start. After a little brainstorming on what to brew, we chose to go big… very big! This massive Imperial Stout was double-mashed, boiled for 3 hours, and conditioned on cacao nibs, hazelnuts, vanilla beans, and sea salt. It then received a kiss of Palo Santo wood, imparting a soft spice note. Shoutout to our pub kitchen team for helping us roast trays upon trays of nuts!

"Why ATV?', one might ask. Well, that's because some ATV's are Quads, and that's exactly what you're drinking now. Not an ATV, but a quadrupel. Not all ATV's are quads, but this ATV certainly is. You still get it? We added some chocolate to this one as well, to enrich it in flavor and depth. So a not so classical Belgian Quadrupel, yet very interesting. O, and if you write "Quadruple", you're out of the game.

Ródel & Jödel IJsbeer is een Quadragonupel, oftewel een quadrupel met dragon. Een fluweelzacht donker bier met een verrassend frisse dragon- toets. Ook deze IJsbeer heeft soort van een waarschuwing nodig! Geniet van je Rödel & Jödel IJsbeer maar pas op bij het Rödelen want vlieg je uit de bocht dan wordt het Jödelen.

Stapallemachtig is een volle fruitige Quadrupel met caramel profiel, gelagerd met eikenhout. Ga lekker zitten in je beste stoel, pak er wat te knabbelen bij en geniet van dit bier. Veender Jan ‘Stapallemachtig’ Bakker groeide op aan de Zuidhoek, waar nog altijd veel Bakkers wonen. Jan verhuisde voor de kost naar de Floraweg waar hij een tuinderij had (2e brug rechts waar de kapsalon van Marleen van Ruiten staat). Jan had altijd enorme haast en was vaak erg druk. Deze haast ging gepaard met grote stappen, vandaar de bijnaam. Tegenwoordig wordt dit snelle lopen binnen de familie Bakker ‘de Bakkerspas’ genoemd. Ze hebben altijd haast… ook als ze geen haast hebben.’

Tesselaar Dukdalf is een stoer krachtig bier van 10% vol. Alc. Een echte Quadrupel! De rijke donkerkopere kleur ontstaat door een variatie aan geroosterde gerst en mout soorten. Vol van smaak, met prachtige moutbittertonen gecombineerd met een zachte hopbitter door de bijzondere Marynka hop. Een klein zoetje maakt een fluweelzachte afdronk! Tesselaar Dukdalf dankt zijn naam aan zijn eigenschappen. De dukdalf is die stoere aanmeerpaal voor steun in de veilige haven. De veilige haven als het Horntje, waar de Tesselse veerboot aanmeert of Ouweskil waar de kotters en pleziervaart veilig binnen liggen. Maar overdrachtelijk kan het ook de thuishaven Texel zijn waar de Tesselaar kinderen opgroeien, volwassen worden, uitvliegen naar de ‘Overkant’ en weer Thuus kunnen komen! Onze familiebrouwerij is de thuishaven, nu ook Sander de oudste van de drie kinderen Diks definitief voor het brouwers vak heeft gekozen en dagelijks in de brouwerij te vinden is. Saisons are all about the yeast. It’s the specific strains and relatively long fermentation that create the complex spicy, fruity esters and dryness. We used to two classic strains, a “Belgian” and a “French” one to create that classic Saison experience. We are quite satisfied with it, as it has turned into a luxurious and complex beer. We thought it suitable to give it a fancy french name. We proudly present: Les Perles Du Homard.

Saison Dupont is a world classic beer and the yardstick for one of Belgium’s most important beer styles. It is the most admired AND imitated Saison in the world. A strong, vital yeast is key to full attenuation and thus to the style. Saison Dupont is straw colored with a dense creamy head. The nose is alive, like fresh raised bread, estery with citrus and spice notes. Full-bodied and malty, it sparkles on the palate and finishes with a zesty hop and citrus attack. Incredibly compatible with food!

To drink at cellar temperature (12°C) or lightly refrigerated, as an aperitif or with dishes such as mussels, eels in a green herb sauce, asparagus, steamed dishes, grills, etc.

Golden yellow Trappist ale with a white head and a rich flavour. The fruity and refreshing aromas go well with the sweet smell of malt and aromas reminiscent of spices. The result is an agreeable and tingling ale with a lightly sweet, smoothly bitter and malty taste. The aftertaste is characterised by a combination of sweetness and smooth bitterness.

Amber-coloured Trappist ale with a broken white head. A lovely combination of herbal, floral and fruity aromas. La Trappe Isid’or was first brewed in 2009 on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of The Koningshoeven Brewery. The harmonious taste starts off fruity and shifts to malty caramel. A perfectly balanced ale. The ale is named after Brother Isidorus, the abbey's first brewer. The aftertaste is pleasantly bitter.

A light-blond, organic, top-fermented Trappist ale with a sturdy collar. The aroma is characterised by the refreshing and fruity aromas of the yeast, combined with the flowery scent of citrus caused by the hops. Only organic ingredients were used when brewing this Skal-certified ale. The result is an accessible, refreshing and smooth Trappist ale with a pleasant bitterness and a mild, dry finish.

A characteristically Trappist ale with a warm amber colour and a cream-coloured head. The aroma is associated with clover and nuts, balanced by the sweet aromas of vanilla, raisins and banana. La Trappe Quadrupel is the heaviest of all the La Trappe Trappist ales and it is also the source for the name of this style. A full, heart-warming and intense taste. Malty with sweet tones of dates and caramel. The aftertaste is smooth and slightly bitter.

A golden blonde Trappist ale with a white head. Fruity aromas of peach and apricot combined with a floral aroma. La Trappe Tripel is a classic Trappist ale with a powerful and full flavour. In addition, this ale has a candy-sweet and light malty character. The aftertaste is bitter and slightly dry.

NOTE: The ABV-value of this beer varies, in the United States 6.9% is used. The Orval’s brewery produces only one beer to sell, a beer with a high fermentation that continues in the bottle. It is 6.2% ABV. This beer is brewed exclusively from spring water, barley malt, hop cones, candy sugar, and yeast. The aroma and the fine taste are due more to the hop cones and the yeast than to the malt that is used. What’s special about Orval’s beer is that hops are added at two different stages of the production process. First, in the brewing room, a large quantity of very fine hops are added – this produces the famous bitter taste and is the reason why the beer keeps for a longer period of time. Later, in the storage cellars, hops are once again added. This is the so-called British “dry hopping,” which produces the delightful aroma that completely enraptures even the most carefully forewarned taster. In the tasting room, Orval’s beer and cheese make a really good pair: the unique shape of the bottle and the glass, the design of the label, the coasters and other publicity materials – it’s all a legacy from the early 1930’s.

To be tasted in all circumstances in the original Rochefort glass and served between 6 and 9 degrees.

Zundert 10 Trappist is een quadrupel met een licht kruidige toets die onze bieren kenmerkt. Dit trappistenbier is diep roodbruin van kleur, met een mooie, licht beige, schuimkraag. De geur geeft hints van gedroogde zuidvruchten, zwoele kruiden, drop en een beetje chocolade. De smaak is vol en zacht, in balans gebracht door een mooie hopbitterheid. In de nasmaak keert de Zundertse kruidigheid subtiel terug.

Zundert Trappist is een kastanjekleurig bovengistend bier met nagisting op fles. Het bevat 8% alcohol. We hebben gekozen voor een bier dat we ‘een beetje weerbarstig’ noemen. Dat wil zeggen, Zundert Trappist is een bier dat je de tijd moet geven om daadwerkelijk te doorgronden. Ons trappistenbier heeft een veelbelovende geur met een zweem van kruiden en specerijen. In de aanzet is Zundert Trappist bloemig en iets zoet. Geef het bier wat tijd en het karakter evolueert van licht karamel naar een mooie en droge hopbitterheid. In de lange afdronk vloeien de bitters samen met een aangename kruidigheid op de achtergrond.

Corsendonk Agnus Tripel is a spicy top-fermented blond beer, also refermented in the bottle and matured into a lively sparkling beer with a spicy bouquet and hopped aftertaste.

Een bovengistend ongefilterde goudblonde 3-granen tripel met een verrassende smaak. De toevoeging van Tettnagerhop en kruiden zorgen voor een kruidige smaak met droge afdronk. Gebrouwen met traditionele lange lagering en kristalzuiver water uit eigen bron.

DAVO Roadtrip is een blonde en krachtige tripel. Het goudgele bier is zoet en verwarmend door het stevige alcoholpercentage. Het fruitige karakter maakt het bier zeer toegankelijk en gevaarlijk doordrinkbaar!

Tripel LeFort is a golden blonde beer of 8.8% ABV and sets itself apart through its crisp, fruity aroma and beautifully rounded full flavour. The top-fermenting yeast used for Tripel LeFort results in a beer with vanilla-clove aromas as well as a fruity taste of bananas and red apples. Pleasant hints of citrus, lime and roses make this into a balanced beer that is intriguingly complex at the same time.

A full-bodied, Amsterdam wheat beer that is dangerously ‘moreish’. Slightly cloudy, it has a beautiful golden colour and a soft, foamy head. When we brew IJwit, we use wheat malt as well as barley malt, which is also how the beer gets its name. The wheat malt gives the beer a delightful, fresh flavour, and the addition of coriander and lemon during the brewing process produces a rich aroma of banana, citrus and spices. Topped off by a fine, slightly sweet aftertaste, IJwit is a delicious thirst-quencher.

Dit unieke viergranen witbier ontleent zijn naam aan de Korenwolf. Een hamster die alleen nog voorkomt in ons eigen Zuid-Limburg. De milde tonen van jonge, witte bloesem in een geraffineerde combinatie met koriander en sinaasappelschil, zorgen voor een prikkelende smaakbeleving. De perfecte balans tussen fris, zoet en zuur. Geniet van dit heerlijke zomerse bier. Gulpener Korenwolf is goed te combineren met schaal- en schelpdieren, witvis en lichte kip- en kalfsgerechten met een aangenaam zurige frisheid.

A witbier with Guava, that's what this is. Yes, I can make all sort of jokes about other pink stuff, or words that rhyme with FIzz, but let's stay professional here. It's just a good, pink witbier, brewed a high dose of unmalted wheats and 12gr/l guava concentrate. Pink, fizzy and quaffable. I like.

Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-pored white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour. It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. To be enjoyed at any time (always a pleasure / enjoyment), goes excellently with fish and seafood, with spicy cheese and especially with the traditional Bavarian veal sausage. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Our dark wheat beer is impressive with its creamy white foam. A fruity-fresh sweetness and hints of mature bananas harmonise with delicious flavours of roasted malt, sparkling and full-bodied with a light caramel taste on the first sip. An excellent accompaniment from hearty meals and game to chocolate and nut desserts. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

bottling date: 10/12/2009 Blend of 1-, 2- and 3-year old lambik, all fermented and lagered in oak barrels and vessels. With Doesjel, the wild fermentation of the young lambik did not continue throughout the bottle conditioning as the yeast "dozed in" ("ingedoesjeld"). This beer has no head, just like lambik so please don't panic.

Rodenbach Alexander is a blend of 2/3rd aged Rodenbach (2 year matured beer from oak standing Foeders) and 1/3rd young ale, then macerated with sour cherries.

Fermented in steel with a mixed culture of yeasts and bacteria. Aged for 2 years in Chardonnay barrels, dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin and bottle conditioned. Funky, and fruity with flavours of citrus, wood and wine grapes.

An evolution of, in our humble opinion, one of the best session sours we’ve ever made. This tart and refreshing Cloudy Lemonade is bursting with citrus flavours from fresh lemon juice and zest. Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops pair perfectly with the zingy character of our mixed fermentation base beer, creating a light and crushable, vegan friendly sour rounded off with lingering sweetness. Reminiscent of an ice cold refreshment on a warm summer’s day, Cloudy Lemonade is enjoyable when the sun is out, and even when it’s not.

Traditional Duchesse de Bourgogne with Belgian cherries and chocolate essence added during the maturation process in oak casks (foeders). 20 kg of whole Belgian cherries are used in the production of each 100 liters of Chocolate Duchesse Cherry.

Duchesse de Bourgogne from Brouwerij Verhaeghe is the traditional Flemish red ale. This refreshing ale is matured in oak casks; smooth with a rich texture and interplay of passion fruit, and chocolate, and a long, dry and acidic finish. After the first and secondary fermentation, the beer goes for maturation into the oak barrels for 18 months. The final product is a blend of younger 8 months old beer with 18 months old beer. The average age of the Duchesse de Bourgogne before being bottled is 12 months.

For this speciality, we use old and young lambic beer that has aged in our oak casks. When the lambic is 6 months old, we add 25% black cherries. This provokes the second fermentation. We then clarify, filter and bottle it. The cherries and young lambic create a red beer that is both natural and fresh, with an absolutely unforgettable sweet and sour taste. This is kriek as it should be, with nothing but real cherries and lambic. There is no place for artificial colourings or flavourings.

Formerly known as Liefmans Kriek and Cuvée - Brut. This classy beer represents the perfect marriage between the fresh accents and slightly acidic flavour of the black cherries. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a mixed fermentation beer, with every hectolitre containing up to 13 kilos of fruit! Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a perfect blend of Oud Bruin and Goudenband from different vintages, and can consist of between 15 and 20 different batches of beers. The beer is matured for 18 months, bringing out the very best of its intense flavour. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a deep reddish-brown colour, with a pale head and wood and almond notes. On the palette, you can clearly taste the slightly sweet, yet at the same time gently bitter fruit flavours. This is a beer that just oozes class…

Oude Geuze Boon is a monument of taste with an alcohol content of 7%. It’s a magnificent blend of 90% mild 18 month-old lambic, 5% strong 3 year-old beer and 5% very young lambic, which provides fermentable sugars and wild yeasts. All our beers are aged in oak casks, mixed in a vessel of 25,000 litres and chilled. Before bottling, we bring the mix to fermentation temperature. The bottles are then placed in an air-conditioned room, which leads to a secondary fermentation in the bottle. This is when the lambic becomes gueuze. After several months of aging in the bottle, the gueuze develops its delicate flavour. Want to know the bottling date? Simply subtract 20 years from the “best before” date! Taste carefully and you will uncover a fruity grapefruit and ginger flavour with a hint of Muscat grapes. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by the wholehearted body and the sublime finish – an explosion of Germanic and Romance cultures.

Again, the basic old and young lambic are matured in oak casks. But here we add to one year-old lambic about 400 grams of real cherries per litre. This creates a second fermentation in the casks. Oude Kriek Boon then undergoes a further fermentation in the bottle and has an alcohol volume of 6.5%. After several months, the flavour has matured to the desired taste. Oude Kriek Boon is a test of your patience. It should lie about 2 years in the bottle. At first, it tastes of fruit, especially sour cherries. Oude Kriek Boon eventually evolves into a deep taste reminiscent of Port or Madeira wine. This is kriek at its best.

RODENBACH is the unique & original “Flanders Red Ale”, recognised as a traditional local product. Mixed main fermentation and maturation in oak casks (“foeders”) give it the same sweet-sour flavour and complex fruitiness as wine. RODENBACH consists of 3/4 young beer and 1/4 beer matured two years in oak. It's is highly refreshing and appetising: the perfect apéritif or session ale! Since 1821.

This is an aged Belgian red ale, which is ‘ripened quietly in oak barrels for two years’, according to the label. It has an extremely pungent aroma of rich grapey fruit, with acidic notes, very much like a slightly sour red wine or possibly a gueuze. In the mouth it is slightly sweet, extremely acidic and fruity, with grapes and even cherries discernible, and very lively. Despite the sweetness it is not at all cloying, even thin, with little or no trace of malt. Finish is sharp and fruity.

Geroosterde Wilgenbast, 12 Maanden houtgerijpt

Lambicus Faro is a historical Brussels beer. Candy sugar is delicately added to a traditional barrel-aged lambic, giving a sweeter note with apples aromas.

Triple Fruited Mango at 4.8% packs a punch! Our best-selling sour since its inception in 2022 is getting a revamp, and this sessionable new ABV brings our mango sour in line with our other core range offerings like Strawberry Sundae and Cloudy Lemonade. Juicy, fresh and rich - this tropical adventure serves a triple helping of alphonso mango, paired with our mouth-watering mixed fermentation base beer.

Originally called "Ouden Tripel", this ancient West Flanders Brown beer has found a new élan as a regional specialty under its current name: "VanderGhinste Roodbruin". The main ingredients of our Vanderghinste Oud Bruin are malted barley, wheat, hops, water, and caramelized malts. These are used to brew a top-fermented beer. Blending this beer with lambic beer aged in oak for 18 months results in this specific West Flanders Brown beer. Its typical flavour is characterized by a well-balanced, hardly noticeable sourness. This first flavour impression is soon followed by a second pleasant discovery: a slight bitterness followed by a hint of sweetness.

100% Foeder Color: Pale Taste: Sour

bottling date: 12/03/2024 For this small batch of Druif, we had the honour to work with the renowned Jean-Pierre Robinot. For this field blend, we macerated destemmed grapes for six months on jonge lambik in a wooden barrel. The grapes underwent a short cold maceration just before. We used both Pinot D’Aunis (85%) and Chenin Blanc (15%) grapes (because JP said so), both typical to the Loire region. Afterwards, we blended with some two-year old lambik, rendering the weighted average age upon bottling to over 15 months. The final fruit intensity 323 grams of grapes per litre of Druif. All grains used in the nine different lambikken were all sourced from Pajottenland. Merci Thea!!

Een Blond trappistenbier met 7% alcohol, gekenmerkt door een verfijnde bitterheid en een rijk, gelaagd karakter. Door de combinatie van vier granen; gerst, tarwe, haver en rogge, ontstaat een diepe en complexe smaakervaring. Lupulus is a blonde ale with an alcohol proof of 8,5 %, refermented in champagne bottles and in casks. The choice not to filter the beer, as well as not to pasteurize it ensures its taste and aromatic quality. The use of hops in considerable quantities, gives this liquid gold a freshness and an incomparable bouquet. Store this beer, as it ought to be, next to your beloved Grand-Cru and serve at a temperature between 8 and 12°C (46,4 and 53,6°F). You'll be delighted !

Our take on a classic style of beer. A blend of fresh and aged Flemish brown Ale. 60% of the blend was aged for over 1,5 years in a red wine foudre and after that the beer was aged for another year in bordeaux wine barriques. We also blended in a few bourbon barrel aged brown ale to give the blend a hint of American oak.

This 10th edition of our Oude Geuze Boon Black Label celebrates two remarkable milestones 10 years of Black Label Ouede Geuze - and perhaps even more special - the start of our anniversary year 2025, marking the 50th anniversary of our brewery. Cheers!

Wild ale dry hopped with Saaz hops.

Lentebier is double-hopped in the boiling vessel and has not been filtered. The brew gets a form of "late hopping" with hop flowers from the region of Aalst (East-Flanders).

Dark, heavy smoked beer For the creation of the Gulden Draak Smoked, we go back to the ancient tradition of malt drying: smoking malt. This resulted in a smoked touch of the malt which you afterwards also could find in the beer. This typical smoky taste was lost over the years because the malt drying techniques were made considerably more efficient. The use of smoked malt in combination with the specialty of Brewery Van Steenberge has a spectacular result: a heavy quality beer of high fermentation with a secondary fermentation in the bottle, baptized as Gulden Draak Smoked.
